I have purchase a few items direct from the states without having to pay tax or duty. Most supplier will mark the item as a gift or a very low cost. UPS will automatically invoice you for duty and tax.

I must be very unlucky, as I have never been able to get free postage from QVC,s CS dept when I have returned anything? It is a shame you cannot return only the faulty item, but have to return the whole lot.

I hope it gets better, just repeats but looks like from ages ago. How will they cope with stock levels and sell outs?

When I looked at mine yesterday it only had my last 4 orders and a message to say that the system was being upgraded and order history may be missing. Not check it today.

All by QVC items get delivered on a Tuesday, except when it's the post office. I put this down to the courrier. So I think it then is down to when QVC send it out of the depot. When I order on Fri/Sat/Sun I miss the first week and it gets delivered in week two.

They had a discount of 20% off the shop price, for kitchenware in Shrewsbury about 3 weeks ago on a Thursday. Every time I have been in they always have some form of discount marked up by the tills.

Logged on to the web site yesterday morning and ordered the three things that had been sold out during the live show. Happy days.

No it's the older design with a separate lid. You have to find a place to put the hot lid down that is safe. This is a real pain, I would like the newer design, space providing. My lid fits perfectly, it not a tight fit and it rests on the lip on the glass bowl and the weight of the lid keeps...
