Yodel is probably one of the worst companies out there. Its a massive false economy to use them for anything. Their business model is based around lying to customers unfortunately. They'll happily make you wait in for a couple of days and not turn up. Argh.
Its really frustrating, I want to like Marve, she seems nice and fun, but today during some of the food shows her 'hyper' mood was quite distracting. It'd be nice if she could just reign it in a bit.
I didn't recognise her in this!
Seen both WinterTrax and the get-a-grip ones on Q lately with the usual waking on a block of ice demo. I hadn't seen the get-a-grip ones on QVC before the showing last week. It does bug me a bit though as they always used to say how WinterTrax's coils were better than ones with spikes, then...
I can't say for certain but I'd very much doubt that QVC broadcasts with a time delay. Apart from the usual few seconds delay if you watch via Sky, to my knowledge its all live. I very much doubt they'd also employ people to be on hand to edit out gaffes during live shows. Plus, if they did this...
Ok perhaps you may be curious to try the expensive meat, perhaps some of their sweet ranges, but why on earth would you pay so much for flavoured popcorn!?
The 'VIP nuts' that they have seem bad enough, but popcorn with a bit of chilli powder on it, worth a few pence per bag - not £20.40 for 5...
Still a lot for 8 bags of chocolate, but a nice simple way to save a fiver if you're near a Thorntons store! Plus you get to choose what flavours you want.
As much as I'm keen on Kathy/Debs flint, I had to go with Pippa. I didn't really have an opinion on her either way before, but this year I've enjoyed a few shows of hers - so I voted for her based on a great on-screen personality and her great entertainment value this year.
I was thinking the same thing, I did feel sorry over xmas for the people who had ordered it as I knew they would likely have been disappointed.
The reviews are always an interesting read.
I don't care if its 'Artisan' or if its won a thousand awards (that no one's ever heard of), you're trying to sell a couple of bags of oats and some jam for £40. Unbelievable!
Also, a cardboard box with some straw inside does not constitute a hamper! Food has to be one of the poorest value...
The new sets look great, and work really well on camera. Great colours and interesting design, makes it feel a lot more spacious.
Never-mind Julia being a gay icon... I think Kathy looked a million dollars on the Morning Show!
Often they replay footage from earlier within a show. I do agree if you were to flick over at the time it must look odd.
It would help if they simply had a graphic saying 'earlier'.
