I think it would be worth a try (not sure where you would stand with your 30 day MBG though if your mog wasn't happy with it!) My shorthaireds certainly prefer it to the Furminator that I spent a small fortune buying! Good luck with those knots!

They are quite good but I wouldn't say I found it that much better at removing tangles than a wide toothed 'pick' type comb. However, I've found an alternative use for mine - the cats LOVE :hi:being brushed with it and it does remove a lot of their loose fur.

I don't get excited about any up coming TSVs nowadays, though I do look out for L'Occitane's. I used look out for Molton Brown and Aveda's and had some good TSV deals in the past. The TSVs don't seem to be nearly such good bargains now.

Catkins, I understand that it ALL PARTS of the lily are toxic to cats, not just the pollen. I've had my lilies a few years now and keep them in pots near the back of the borders. Difficult though as my 2yr old ASBO Twins are into everything!

Most magnolias like an acid soil. Does anyone here know if that is the case with these? I was tempted too by the peonies the other week but I know that they take several years to get really established and produce many flowers and I'm just too impatient!

I did post on the LE Facebook page regarding my concerns in connection with the takeover by Avon as Avon were not on the Uncaged approved list. Despite making it clear that I was aware of Avon's own policy, they still just came back with a load of flannel and just repeated Avon's rather woolly...

I got the round robin email today too. I think the least QVC could do would be to tailor the email to each person with the exact details of the amounts and what has happened. This basic email is not really enough.

I'd imagine that in a lot cases, £284 of it is from QVC!

My cats are not mad about the Furminator - I think the metal is hard on them. I ended up trying a Tangle Teezer on them - they love that!

That was posted in response to the thread I started. I'd like to think that if enough people complain they will go back to the original formula - not holding my breath though!

It will be interesting to see what parts of the ranges that QVC do and at what prices. The Fiorelli shop near my office currently has a sale on - loads of styles, including leather ones - at half price.
