    Ali Young at home

Lovely videos, though I really don't fancy eating at hers after the dogs had climbed over the surfaces . She is great when she's just allowed to be herself. She looks fantastic in those jeans and that shirt and came across so well. Lovely sense of humour too...what a gorgeous house!!

    Wimbledon 2012

Amazing match from Rosol last night, some unbelieveable tennis played. Sorry that Nadal had to go, but fair's fair - and he just couldn't edge it. Thought Rosol was very humble in his interview after the match. The only thing he needs to do is stop gobbing. Yeuuuch. Now then, cheering Heather...

    Wimbledon 2012

I have only one thing to say today. RAFARAFARAFRAFARAFARAFARAFARAFARAFA  Now I've got that out in the open  ...was so pleased for Heather Watson, she became the first British woman to win a match on centre court since Jo Durie in 1985!! That's quite an amazing (and depressing)...

    Wimbledon 2012

RAFARAFARAFARAFA  The media are saying that Murray's got a "tough" draw, and making big news of the fact he's lost all his warm up matches *shrugs*. I'd love to see another Rafa v Djokovic final. On the women's side I'm not bothered who wins so long as it's not either of the William's...

    The Mally & Ali show

I watched the first half hour and found it thoroughly enjoyable, the Mally shows this time have been really good indeed. I especially loved the bit right at the beginning when Mally flipped Ali the bird and it was caught on camera (by the way, it wasn't done nastily or anything, but it was very...

    What is Mally on?

I watched the whole show last night with Julia and Mally, and most of the two hour show with Pipa earlier in the day (I was working as well, honest!) Julia in particular looked so lovely - skin looked flawless and not overdone at all. It was a very entertaining show. I've had a few bits of her...

Is QVC a friend in the corner?

I am sorry to hear of your experiences Gem Genie - how frightening for you *hug*. I have to say, although I don't buy much at all these days from Q, it is nice to have it on in the background - for the reasons you say. It's like having a "friendly" voice, even though we all gripe about the...

    Queens

I used to support him being as after Henman/Rusedski he was the only player we had. After his display at the French Open and tbh his less than magnetic personality and bad attitude in interviews - that's it. No more! He looked liked he simply couldn't be bothered yesterday and Mahut deserved to...

Quality of "Made for QVC" Nail polishes

Indeed, Jude. The Nails Inc colours I've had with magazines have all been appalling quality, seperating and very watery within weeks. I ordered Porchester Square from Latest In Beauty and this is totally different to any of the free ones I've had, vastly superior in quality.

    French Open - Roland Garros

Couldn't be happier for Rafa...all the more deserved because he is such a ****** lovely bloke. Hope we get some play at Queens today, but after that WIMBLEDON. Bring it on!!

I Love Dale. Controversial I know!

Yeah, I like Dale too - and as others have said, really went up in my estimation after how he dealt with Michaela the other night. Seems like an OK guy, not up himself or anything!

    Grand Opening....

Yeah - I switched on to watch and Kathy looks gorg, the new set is lovely but I was expecting a bit more of a fanfare. But then I guess it's shopping TV and they still have to flog stuff so...

    New shampoo needed

I'd hop in to recommend the A'kin range that QVC used to stock. Not cheap, but I personally found the range to be the best I've tried on my hair. FeelUnique and MyPure very often have deals on the range. No nasties in them, very subtle scents and they get your hair clean without stripping it...

    Julian Leaving?

Blimey, another Tommy Balls shopper here. The Bolton one is long gone which is where I shopped. I remember buying some tan cowboy boots from there in the late 80s - at the time they were fashionable (ish). It was very dark inside, dark blue and red carpets I remember...ah....memories!!

    French Open - Roland Garros

And now the other Williams brother is out! Wooo hoo! (not a fan either...)

i have to admit, i am a bit bored of QVC - is this just a phase ?

I must admit I've not watched half as much as I used to. I'm working funny hours now so don't always get chance to look in. Part of my job now means I have to keep a closer eye on the news/politics so have taken to watching BBC News 24 most of the time (and have been glued to Leveson - hearting...

    How many times...

Someone on here (well a few posters hachoohally) commented that Fiona made this strange braying/mooing noise when other presenters were speaking. I couldn't believe it till I actually heard it myself on Saturday. It sounded awful! Really low, drony noise....just horrendous!

    French Open - Roland Garros

Thank goodness for some proper sport to watch  I'll try and catch as much of it as I can, obvs I'm shouting for Nadal alllllll the way! Kepping an interested eye on Heather Watson too as she seems to have a little more fire in her belly than the average British tennis player.

    Qvc rings/jewellery

I have a set of three chunky sterling silver and marcasite rings from QVC that my mum bought for me for my 25th birthday, back in 2004 - we'd only been watching the channel for a few months then. I wasn't expecting them, but fell in love with them on sight and have worn them almost every day for...

    What a routine!

Thanks Minim! I've really had to go trial and error with my skin of late - so many things that I used before were flaring me up. As a last resort I picked the Simple stuff up (I know it's nowhere near as "natural" as they claim, I've been studying cosmetic ingredient labels for years and...
