Peter has time to finish his book now

This line from Peter was laughable: No, Peter. It was a time when children at the BBC were prey to a huge, organised, satanic paedo ring. I have no respect for anyone who worked at the BBC during the 70s and 80s because there is no way they didn't know what was going on.

What was the last thing you saw on shop at Bid and Price drop?

I was watching when it went off air. The last item was one of those butterfly glass dangly things for the garden. I remember thinking how ridiculously over the top Sherlock was being. He called it a "beautiful piece of art." I actually thought at the time that the channels can't go on like...

    Peter Simon born in 1962?

This might sound ridiculous but I always got the feeling that the snake serum was actually a thinly veiled dig at how gullible their hardcore buyers were. They were actually selling snake oil.

    What's Going On?

Sorry. I don't want to seem to be piling in on you when you have just received two devastating pieces of news in the same day. But I have to ask.... Did you believe in charging £7.99 P&P for tiny items like rings?

    What's Going On?

Mike Mason will be on some gambling channel by the end of next week. Truly vile character but those types land on their feet.

    What's Going On?

Where will Peter Simon go now? The Priory, probably. I will miss his ramblings on a Friday and Saturday night.

And now the website is no longer working....

    All new price drop

These scammers need looking into. They keep referring to the callers "winning" items rather than buying them. There is no winning involved whatsover. Whether you get an item doesn't even depend on your own actions, it depends on whether others have called up too. They seem to think making their...

    All new price drop

I don't think there is any doubt that the names are made up. Somebody called "ELVIS in London" bought one of the products earlier. I think the production crew are actually mocking us now. Expect "Lord Lucan" and "Shergar" as buyers soon.

    Random musings/no argument zone

What a bunch of shysters this lot are. That Vax cleaner is 139.98 at Ebuyer but they are cynically price checking sainsburys and woolworths. It is nearly 50 quid less than bid at ebuyer. Watching this channel is like watching a mugging in slow motion.

    All new price drop

This watch on pricedrop is nice. It costs 80 quid on ebay. Was almost tempted to buy it and then put it on ebay.

This is a doozy of a lie

How embarassing. It looks like argos has made the mistake and I have blamed bid. Having said that though, I find it very odd that Argos is flogging the basic actifry for £169.99 when you can get it so much cheaper, even on bid. Argos are generally cheaper or price things in line with other...

This is a doozy of a lie

This is really weird. Just had a reply from the ASA saying that I am wrong and the \Actifry on argos was the same one. I checked and double checked it when I made the complaint and the argos website clearly stated it was 1.2Kg Just checked now and the £169.99 model says 1Kg. It has changed...

One Day Special products are dire!

The deal of the day today is ladies Skimo watches. Just been on the skimo watch website and it says they are exclusively sold at superdrug. Are they like a superdrug own brand? Why are bid selling them.

    All new price drop

Well, all the people who got the actifry for £126.99 plus £7.99 P&P were "winners" according to the guy on pricedrop. I can't help but think that the real winners are the ones who went to amazon and got it for £119.99 delivered. They actually did two price checks. But they did them at 2 of the...

Surely THE Most Outrageous Price Check, Ever!

Laughable isn't it. And it shouldn't be allowed. But at least that is the same product. The price check I reported to the ASA wasn't even the same product! They must surely be running out of gullible people who don't use the internet.

"Bids Normal Price" new dodgy sales tactic ?

That is a disgrace. Surely they can't be allowed legally to get away with that. The quicker they do go bust the better.

This Back Nodger Massager is a new low. Could have been worse - when I first glanced at the screen I read Todger Massager:mysmilie_19:

    All new price drop

This new format is the worst business idea since Ratner went on TV to say his jewellery was rubbish. In one fell swoop they have taken away their phone revenue and cut their sales in half. Can you imagine the meeting? "We are 60 million quid in debt and almost in administration. Any ideas for...
