One thing has always bamboozled me ahout this Forum. Why is it there are always more members in the QVC site, than all the others put together ? Is it because the other channels are poor in comparison, or what ? Either way, I am just glad to be able to read the different threads on the channels...

Mattress toppers are good, but I'd have thought it would depend on how good your mattress is. A topper wont be much good if your mattress really has gone. Your gonna spend a lot of time on top of your mattress, so I'd be replacing that before getting a topper. Sorry if this isn't the reply you...

Hi scooby-do, welcome. Hopefully, A & B were only a temporary blip on IW. I think you will find a lot on here find that pair over the top. But at least, when they did Craft, you got a lot of different items, not the perpetual repeats that other Crafters' show.

Think we can all relate to that unfortunately ! The amount of junk I must have bought is incredible, esp kitchen gadgets. An ice cream maker with battery operated paddles come to mind, and the vicious v-slicer. That could have been sponsored by Elastoplast and the local A & E dept :sad:

I worship the ground she walks on, lol. Far and away the best looking female presenter on TV in my book.

Been watching QVC since about April 1994, when we got Cable tele, or United Artists as it was called then. I am not a regular buyer though. I watch more for the product demonstrations, then see if I can buy local, if it is something I really do want.

Recently, we've had a spate of threads having a go at various presenters - Allison Young, Claudia etc. A thought has just occurred to me - is this because the stuff for sale is not worth commenting on ? I have to admit to rarely watching the channels now, as there is seldom anything I fancy. So...

Sorry, I cannot think of anything positive to say about a presenter that spouts as much rubbish as she does. She comes over as a particularly vane person, who would use anything to keep her youthful looks. Sorry, life does not work that way. By the time she is 50, her skin will start to age...

Think you'd be better spending a few pounds more and buying one of the steamers that can do carpets, tiles, mirrors etc. I have a similar style hand held steamer - I rarely use it.

Dunno about Furminator, I wish someone would use a terminator on the pain that is demonstrating it. Also, I am sure I paid less for one in Poundstretcher last year.

I always preferred Twiggy to Lulu, as she comes over as a very down to earth person, one you would get on very well with. Lulu ? No thanks. She should stick to singing.
