    Angry 3 Mobile customer

Don't know about 3 but liquid damage is a common rejection for repair. Although there is a single visible indicator in the battery compartment, there are (I believe) another two within the unit. Liquid damage is a bit of a misnomer - it includes humidity from being in a jacket pocket i.e. sweat...

QVC shows how not to design a checkout

Definitely not changed since 2007 when I succumbed! Probably longer than that. Then again, Amazon is just as crud or even probably worse but doesn't stop anybody from buying.

    Silk Oil Of Morocco

I quite like the oil. Currently going through a phase where my scalp is quite itchy and flaky and nothing has calmed it bar this oil.

If it doesn't need to be MS Publisher then take a look at PagePlus Starter edition which is free: https://www.freeserifsoftware.com/

Collecting Nectar points on QVC website?

Been using for a long while but I have to tell my mother to try and use it. Still points turn into cash whatever it buys over time as we don't do the cash back sites. The amount of points we could have had if you didn't have to use the Nectar site first :-(

    Apple products 15/12/11

Apple prices rarely come down unless they are about to launch a new product and even then, it tends to limited quanties for a very short time. Its when they start saying limited stock and the press start reporting Apple shortages then get in fast (providing you don't mind current generation!).

And no returns on engraved items. Check the small print and you'll see it there.

    Apple products 15/12/11

Try and convince me too. I've looked at the ipad in the shops and it must be me, I really can't see what the appeal is other than displaying media. I must be the only person who really does not get on with Apple products! I like the design but not the user interface and the only item I was going...

    Tahiatian Pearls

Because there are people out who have money to spend. These things are of a limited quantity anyway but put into context, how many expensive handbags are sold in a typical hour?

    Linda Papadopolous

I love the way they refer to her as "Dr Linda" rather than "Dr Linda Papadopoulos". Guess the copy writer struggled with the surname

    I've succumbed to a Clickfree - - again!

For those of you thinking you need to transfer data via an external drive to a new pc AND have a router, you do realise you can set up a network easily enough: just drag and drop the files across. Far easier than you think and will save you the cost of buying an external device. Once done get...

    sat 10/09 TSV/ Kodak printer?

Never really considered Kodak's to be honest. Always been a HP inkjet man myself and the cartridges on mine are about £7 each. Though before you commit yourself, if your printing needs is mainly black and white go for a cheap mono laser. Also check out, dare I say it, Staples or PCW for end of...

What is the point of asking questions?

Generally, if a device can record then its going to be mpeg4 format. Which means your pc/laptop/tablet/mobile phone will be able to play the recording with a suitable codec. If not then just download VLC and worry no more! Also take a look at Handbrake if you need to convert them to another format.

    HP TSV on Sunday

You won't. Last weeks fun and games practically overloaded any website with the sheer rumour of a Touchpad in stock. The official line is its gone forever : http://eurostore.palm.com/epages/Store.sf/secxE_D_6eQ8rg/?ObjectPath=/Shops/PalmStore/Products/HP-FB405UA-ABB The only way you will...

    HP TSV on Sunday

Kind of. They want to sell off the PC division and concentrate on the software (services side) a la IBM. They sold off theirs to Lenovo. Either way, any PC you buy with HP's name on it will be warranty/guaranteed in the normal period.

    Sunday's Acer TSV

They've "discontinued operations on webOs" meaning the entire webOS line is dead: tablets, phones and any other things HP had planned. webOS may exist in another form but buy a HP Pre/Touchpad in the expectation of zero manufacturer support. However, at that price its still worth a go but as...

    Sunday's Acer TSV

I kind of agree with the work boys. My Asus I'm using has been utterly brilliant in nearly 5 years of use considering I do actually take it places. Difficult to justify going to another brand in my opinion as they are well built. Acer on the other hand seem to be ok if treated right - my brother...
