Who's going for the AHHHHHH bra?

I just bought some (off eBay) as I'm allergic to the wires on most bras and being a 'lady of a certain age' and prone to sweats it is getting worse! I am a 38E and they give me reasonable support. If I was going out somewhere dressed up I wouldn't wear them but for every day, nothing special I...

    Twitter

No, you got me there BB - not a clue!!:giggle::giggle::giggle: The only one I would be likely to follow isn't on that list!

    Best Thing Ever!

My Magic Bullet with all the extras - so much cheaper than anywhere else. I really did use it most days and my sons used to make themselves milkshakes and smoothies all the time. Unfortunately the little plastic bit on top that everything locks on to has broken....... anyone have a spare?

    Cup Cakes Make Me Vom

I'd rather have a cup/fairy cake than a creme egg any day!! What I can't get over is the prices that are attached to these things. I could make them at home for a year for the cost of one box of six from our local market!!

    Scissors TSV Mon 20th Feb

I always use scissors to cut pizza too - can't be doing with those silly little roller thingies!! I use scissors for cutting/shredding meat (raw and cooked), cutting herbs, salad and so on. I have a couple of pairs of general purpose ones that perform all necessary functions - can't see why I...

    Android smartphone security

I am on my second HTC Android and like them very much. My previous phone I had no security on - never really crossed my mind!. The one I have now has an AVG anti-virus app. How necessary it is I don't know, never had any issues. Whether there are many viruses that affect phone systems at present...

Ideal World is God's Gift to the World!

They have some Kurt Muller stuff now which is a definite improvement - mind you, with a KM outlet store just down the road I ain't going to buy from IW!!:nod:

I'd like to stress this is NOT microfibre....

I have two different types of microfibre towels from QVC. The fluffy ones are useless for drying yourself but ok to wrap around while you air dry! The other ones are very short pile and are brilliant - best towels I have used. They don't stain or fade like ordinary towels either. I wish I could...

    B&W The latest look - nature-inspired jewellery!

I quite like it! I understand that the pieces aren't really suitable for business meetings/dinners or other more formal occasions but I do like to wear brooches and most of the pieces that would be ok for those types of things don't really go for the more casual outings that I now go on. I would...

    Memory Foam Matress

I have a memory foam topper and use an electric blanket. I read lots of things about combining the two before I bought my blanket and most said it was ok but perhaps put an old sheet or something similar between the blanket and the mattress/topper which I have done. I've had my blanket for a...

    anyone remember "Coty" ?

Oh this takes me back!! I was at boarding school in the seventies and EVERYONE wore Meadowsong (or Meadowpong as it inevitably became known) so just the name brings back so many memories! I also remember my Gran having a little black bottle with a spatula on her dressing table - I hope it...

    Losing my marbles?

Watching TJC this morning and son happened to be in the room. A pair of emerald platinum overlay stud earrings came on and he asked could I order them for his girlfriend which I duly did. I bought on line on the 'watch live tv' buy it now button However, it would appear that what I bought were...

    Cushions on the bed

Cushions? I don't think so. The only time my bed gets made is when I put clean covers on so throws and cushions would be a complete waste of money! I do make sure the duvet covers my bit of the bed when I turn on the electric blanket though or the heat escapes.

Hello Argey, haven't seen you for ages - sitting at the computer been a tad uncomfortable? xx :giggle:

    Indigo Moon

I would rather have the back done and the front plain - perhaps we can work something out between us!!! I have an Indigo Moon skirt (completely devoid of embroidery!) and would like a jacket but prefer to eat so maybe one day! The trousers don't look so bad for 'going out' but as I never go out...

    A quick question please

If you enjoy doing it (or anything else for that matter!) then you go for it. It was only my personal feeling on the situation not a directive!!! :mysmilie_477:

What type of candle do you like best?

I like the wax tarts too - it means I can change the fragrance often without having to spend a fortune!! As far as getting remaining wax out of jars goes putting them in the freezer works for me. With a votive holder it slides straight out, with a jar I break it into pieces after freezing...
