I always 'dress' the beds. I only like white bedding but do have a coloured cover with three cushions. I also have two giant white pillows that don't get slept on (yeah I'm weird, ok) and woe betide OH if he crumples them taking them off the bed each night. :rolleyes::mysmilie_61:

As far as I know most of the presenters also earn income from elsewhere, not soley from QVC. In the past I've heard them refer to having to do their VAT returns and accounts so are probably either self-employed on a contract, or have their own company and invoice QVC.

When I bought mine last year I thought the pin had broken off. However I found that it slides back in from the top, not easy to explain and a bit fiddly, but have a try, it might not be broken.

Unfortunately Kenwood is no longer a British company. It's owned by Delonghi and everything is now made in China.

I've just noticed that QVC have the poppy brooch back again. However out of the £15 + p&p only £5 is donated to the Royal British Legion. On the RBL site they also have the brooches in stock, including a new larger version of last years poppy. With ALL profits going to the charity...

It's very odd, I know that a few of us here have the same problem with LD's polishes. On me it peels completely and cleanly away after an hour or so, this has never happened with any other brand.

For those who have ordered it and worried about the cost of the return if not suitable; I'm sure that I heard them say that the p&p charge covered the cost of the return and that it would be picked up from home. Unless I dreamt it.:thinking:

I noticed the spatter too. It also looked a bit too light and juddery, and as brissles said, like a child's toy.
