    Decluttering!

You're so right MML. I recently decided we need some fitted wardrobes, the Ikea cheapies we bought 20 years ago as a 'temporary measure' are getting on my nerves. Getting people in to give a quote necessitated cleaning and tidying the bedroom (lest they thought I was some sort of sloven!). The...

    Decluttering!

Still chugging along with the declutteration. I donated my two vintage Singer sewing machines to 'Tools for Self Reliance', a charity that sends them to Africa for people to earn themselves a living by sewing. I managed to sell my huge and very expensive sewing machine, which I bought with...

Horrible, sweaty Poly frock! The model looks like a chieftain tank in the plain Khaki one.

I quite fancied this in the black, but it's on waitlist in my size, so won't be bothering. A shame.

    Underwhelming, to say the least.

    Fitbit TSV 26/05/19

I had a Fitbit Versa, and I loved it. Unfortunately I was allergic to the strap. Tried several different ones, and they all made my skin react, so Fitbit gave me a full refund.

Monsoon Coming to QVC next month

Unfortunately, Bon Marche is yet another retailer currently on the ropes. I've had some lovely things from them. My elderly mum was a big fan, and I used to find something for myself whenever I took her...

Haven't they just gone into administration? This is just a chance to offload stock before they go bust!

    Seasalt coming to Q

Can’t take my spaniel anywhere where food is served! He’s really well behaved, until he gets a sniff of some grub, then all bets are off! He’d be on everyone’s lap, with his big spaniel eyes. Whatcha got? Can I have a bit? Please? Pretty please? Go on, jussa lil bit? A lil bitty bit?

    Decluttering!

Yes, still going, albeit slowly! 10 perfect, but rejected - for various reasons - wigs, sent off to the local wig bank, which provides low cost reconditioned wigs to medical and necessity wearers on a low income. 3 carrier bags of now too big (Yay!) clothes ready to donate. Yesterday the...

    Seasalt coming to Q

Went to lunch with a friend recently and she had on a lovely striped jersey cocoon dress in the perfect colour palette for her. I complimented her on it, she really did look fabulous, and she told me it was from Navabi. Apparently she buys a lot of their stuff.

    Vionic Footwear TSV 18/4/19

Not keen, they look a bit clumpy. I'd rather have a heel strap too. Giving them a miss, although I do like the Vionic footbed, they are very comfortable and supportive if you have any 'arch' troubles.

Thomson & Morgan, too good to be true!

It’s very cheap CC, sounds like a bargain. My new favourite is Hayloft for plants though. They’re not the cheapest but their plants and service are top notch, and their website is pure horticultural porn!

Aldi Avenue Jeggings (but more like jeans)

It's a common response Marina! Most people switch off as soon as you say the word 'fast'. 'Oh, I could never do that!'. And others come up with all kinds of starvation theories as to why it's not good for you. Actually, fasting has been practised for thousands of years, as a healing...
