My thoughts exactly! Since it was sold it’s gone further and further downhill. No advisors - just a stand like all the other high street brands. When it was relaunched, they’d dropped a lot of the items i used such as the Well Rested and all the eye shadows. They still have the occasional palette but they’re few and far between and usually unwearable. I did pick up a nice on in TX Maxx a month ago so that shows how far they’ve sunk. That, I’m sure, is the reason they’re creeping back to QVC. The last resort. Always the same when these brands are bought out by the conglomerates (asset strippers - think Decleor, Laura Geller, etc) they think they know better than their loyal customers. They also think said loyal customers are stupid enough to keep buying no matter how much they cheapen the product. Be very interesting to see what they bring and how it pans outWe have a counter in my local city centre Boots. I have never seen anyone buying or even looking at the counter. Perhaps that is the reason they are returning to QVC? Counters in stores not doing well.
Have you had a look on eBay or amazon? When I was desperately searching for any of the bisque concealer left in the UK, there was always some of the summer bisque knocking around on those sites and it was far cheaper than bisque. Sadly summer bisque too dark for me, but you may be able to find some still out there for a reasonable price. The summer bisque loose concealer is the one item I really miss. I’ve yet to find anything that covers and lasts as well as that did,I was gutted when it was discontinued. I have a red broken vein on my cheek and it’s the only concealer that’s ever covered it completely.
