Gabbling presenters

Help Support ShoppingTelly:

I met her at a Beauty Bash (remember those 🧐) She was friendly and very chatty - a bit ‘goofy’ but liked her - Alison Young also as likeable - Fiona from Decleor and the team from Alpha H also - there were a few, with a face like a slapped arse (ahem) as we say Up North - you know who from Elemis, James Read and the rep from Philosophy

Adele from SBC was very nice, she was very happy to answer my questions and was very knowledgable.

Ophelia was presenting a show yesterday or the day before but speaking so fast I could not make out all the words that were coming out of her mouth. Please, all of you, slow down. This isn't the radio show Just A Minute. In any case nobody would win it on Q because they repeat and deviate from the topic all the time.
The gardener representing You Garden (this may be a spelling mistake) I find incomprehensible. I believe his name is Sean. Seems like a nice, smiling man, but he sounds like he's speaking Norweigan. I know that a Liverpool accent is more like Old English than any other accent in the UK, but I don't know if he's from Liverpool. I wish he would tone it down a bit. I can understand Ophelia, but she pronounces many words very badly.

That's Shaun Ryan, and he's from Leeds originally. He was one of the original presenters on Ideal World until it folded (again) - he then appeared on QVC as a plantsman, which was always his 'thing' really: that and running a pub and being an shopping telly presenter. He's much better on QVC as a BA for something he's genuinely interested in than he ever was shilling tat on IW.

He seems happy and confident in what he's doing, but I wish I could understand him! I watched Ideal World a few times. It seemed like a very poor cousin of QVC.

Couldn't agree more. I thought he was a total prat when I saw him on Ideal World. Saw him on QVC and my opinion changed. Seems like a nice fella.

When I watched her last week … she had no interest whatsoever in the brand and kept chatting and they brand rep had to push back to get back to the item … it’s not leather and it’s not 100s of pounds … she’s rude for sure
I think .. MF was on holiday or something
Wish they would get rid of her QVC must lose a lot of Sales when she is on.
