Always made me laugh when the winners got a speedboat and lived in the Midlands. Can’t remember what quiz show it was but remember one couple lived in a flat and won a greenhouse!

Yes, they always lived furthest away from the sea!

But even so, it's not the most practical of prizes. I'd rather have had a teasmade!

I do wonder why that should be......or perhaps I don't. :rolleyes: Can you imagine him on something like 'Bullseye'? 'Not only a set of glasses and a decanter, not only a tricycle for the kiddies, etc. etc.' I know where my darts would be aimed....I'd even give up the chance of a fondue set for that.
