Looks like it's sold well. All on advance order.
Not sure about the tufted one in each set though.

I wonder if everyone has been buying two different sets, as Debbie has been suggesting we do?Looks like it's sold well. All on advance order.

It's a hefty investment, but I know a lot of people who used to go to bed early last year to minimise their heating bills. Having cosy bedding would help cut the heating bills and could pay for themselves in no time. It could be influencing some people's thinking again this year as heating bills are still rising.I wonder if everyone has been buying two different sets, as Debbie has been suggesting we do?
Oh, I agree. I have stocked up on cosy bedding, throws and heated items myself the past couple of years. I do love it. But in the case of Debbie suggesting buying two of the TSVs, you only use one set at once so how many people would want and could afford to buy four complete bedding sets (£200 for the Kingsize)? I just hope purchasers are aware of how much of a headache the CH bedding can be in a domestic washing machine.

I find that the KS duvet covers are always bigger than a KS duvet (especially in the velvetsoft)and you end up with extra fabric. So last time they had a tsv with 2x four piece sets I just bought them in double to try. The fitted sheets are elasticated all the way round so the doubles go on my king fine, and the double duvet covers seem to be only 3 inches or so narrower than my ks duvet which I can live with. I can now use them on either bed.My problem too except I have a superking duvet on a king bed. I’d like to try a Cozee set but what to do
I bought a duo pack of cozee duvet sets a couple of years ago so one's in the wash and one's on the bed. I've also got a fleece set with holly on it that I've had since it first came out. I love it, especially at this time of year as the upstairs of our house is cold. The duvet covers do fill up the machine to wash them and some of their throws won't even go in the machine, I have to take them to work to wash. I agree the prices are creeping up though - along with everything else.

Could someone tell me what sort of capacity washing machine would handle these bulkier items of bedding? Or tell me what capacity yours is if it is too small for larger items? I am considering a new machine and even though it’s just me at home so I don’t need a big machine for everyday use, I do have some Kingsize bedding and throws, also a washable mattress topper, and I’d like to be able to wash them at home. I suppose I could also only do general washing when I have a big load if I had a bigger machine so it wouldn’t be uneconomical.I’ll use my sets of cozee home fitted sheets, but think I’ll get a brushed cotton duvet cover and pillowcases from elsewhere. I dread washing the CH double duvet cover as it’s really bulky in the washing machine. Bulky to store as well. The CH single fitted sheets are fine to wash and store.
Thank you, candycane. I will investigate further but that is really helpful for practical advice from someone who has a bit of experience. I agree that Debra should mention the issue, too.Mine's a Bosch washing machine, ordinary size which would be 9kg? You can get bigger washing machines but this is your average size. I can get a king size duvet cover in it on its own, the sheet I can get in with the pillow cases and some other small items. The ordinary sherpa/fleece non filled throws go in no bother. The filled bedspread thingy that I have won't go in and needs a commercial machine (which I take to work with permission). I think Debra Leigh should mention more that those big filled throws won't go in a standard size machine.
I think the bigger machines are 14kg but more expensive and maybe bigger width? I didn't go for one anyway probably because I wanted a Bosch brand and the standard size was a lot of money, never mind the big one.

I can get my double CH velvet soft duvet in my Hoover 9kg washing machine but nothing else. No problem with the fitted sheet as it’s a single plus two pillow cases.Thank you, candycane. I have a 10kg machine and I put a velvetsoft ks duvet cover in with 2 velvetsoft pillow cases, the 2 inside cotton pillow cases and 2 pillow protectors, no problem. Plenty of room. Then I wash the velvetsoft ks sheet separately with other bits and pieces. Mine are all champagne type colours so I put white tea towels and white t-shirts etc in. You could squeeze all the bedding in the machine in one go but I don't think it would have enough room to wash well.Could someone tell me what sort of capacity washing machine would handle these bulkier items of bedding? I'm pretty sure mine is 9kg and I wash my king size velvet soft duvet cover on its own and the sheet and 4 pillow cases together. I wash 2 or 3 throws depending on the thickness, I have some of the old ones that they used to do in packs of 3 or 4 that I love and wish that they still did them, and some of the thicker later ones. They all wash and dry outside or hung over a door usually in less than a day.Mine's a Bosch washing machine, ordinary size which would be 9kg?
