I adore their Vivian's boot. Have 2 pairs in red (one pair relegated to driving boots) and a pair of the tan ones.

I used to buy Hush Puppies back n the 60s. I think they used to be made out of pigskin.

And had a metal brush for cleaning them that hurt when your fingers got in the way!!

Just ordered the pewter ones. Winter walking boots sorted (hopefully) seeing as my old Emus have died and their fit seems to have got smaller (or my feet have got bigger)

I'm such a dork! I didn't miss this TSV after all - I just didn't realise it was after midnight when I went to bed I got the sand ones, they look lovely so I hope they live up to it.

I think they look lovely, but I can't really justify another pair of "biker" style boots.

My Father had a Hush Puppy hat like a suede trilby way back.

My pewter size 7 boots have arrived today. They are rather splendid and they are a perfect fit - not slightly too small or slightly too big. Fit just like size 7's did in ye older days. Are a tad chunkier than I normally wear but will be ideal for dog walking over the coming winters

Mine aren't here yet but hopefully soon. I got the sand and I've been looking for a winter white padded coat to go with them. Do you think I can find one? QVC are usually brimming with Centigrade coats at this time of year but not one fits the bill.

Try LandsEnd. I got a superb winter white, full length 'warmest' rated coat from them last year from one of their Under the Hammer events. Ideal for dog walking on dark mornings/evenings. Bonus being white must have been a slow mover as I paid around £25 for it
