Well, being positive- if you wanted a person behaving like a screeching tw at to try to sell low rent goods on a chessy shopping channel - he’s your man. A pity really because he has a lot to offer in a serious role. I suspect people like him, Jacks, Simon, Mason etc..are on a lot more money than we all think. Decent enough to travel significant distances to earn it.

I've never doubted they (the presenters) might be having the last laugh from a financial perspective.

I recall the tv comedy The Office with Ricky Gervais. The character David Brent was trying to cling on to the small amount of fame he'd discovered. He had ended up doing guest appearances in night clubs and was finding them totally demoralising.

When telling this to a new girlfriend, she gave him a different perspective on the whole thing. Along the lines of 'Why do you care what the people in the club think? You're getting paid £200 to stand on stage for 10 minutes and talk rubbish. Take the money and run I say!'

So yeah, if the presenters are sensible they'll totally ignore this forum, do their thing and keep on getting the proverbial pay cheques!

He moved to Peterborough, didn’t he? Well, assuming he still lives in Peterborough, he’s had to drive down to London to get there for quite an early hour. You would imagine that’s going take him probably up to 3 to 4 hours as a round-trip. Then he is providing his time for a four hour slot. Surely, somebody like him isn’t going to get out of bed for under £1000 for doing that on a Sunday plus expenses to get there to and from.
