What I hate are presenters who lead the less experienced brand ambassadors into unrelated conversations then suddenly change the topic back just as the BAs forget about the product and are left floundering. I hate that because it dpesn't give the BAs a chance to show they can do their jobs properly. It reminds me of a cat toying with a mouse. And yes, I'm a cat person but cats do what cats do and can be cruel. It's up to the presenters to show the best side of the brand ambassadors so they in turn can show the best side of their products and the end result isn't that the BAs look incapable, but that the presenters look unprofessional.

So true. Brook seems particularly keen on encouraging the more naive BA's to laugh and giggle at his comments. There is one particular BA (who knows a lot about gem stones) named, Clemmo, I think, who laughs long and hard at his jokes at a piercing pitch. When the two of them are on, the show is practically impossible to watch. He puts her in a bad light as an 'air head,' which she is not.

He's a good looking man, but without any sex appeal. Who knows what he's like when he's not working, but we'll never know. Although I'm not drawn towards baldies, I find the man who demonstrates the Dyson products very masculine and attractive.
He used to work for bid tv 🤣🤣

I think old Charlie has this strange idea, he is a cross between a sex stud and Bradley Walsh doing comedy. :ROFLMAO: o_O
Charlie, the Human Hoover, is like most of the selly telly channels presenters - it's all about them being in the spotlight, and it seems they'll quite happily humiliate someone else or use them as a stooge in order to achieve this. Two of the worst are Peter Simon and Andi Peters - if you can locate anything on Youtube showing Pope Pete's first appearance on Gemporia (where he was employed for all of five minutes a few years back) then it's hilarious and embarrassing in equal measures. Totally acting the "out of my way, I'm the superstar here" and almost pushing the other presenter to one side. Talk about suffering from delusions of grandeur - perfect illustration of how they're small-time who think they're big time.

I cannot watch Charlie Brook any more without wanting to throw something at the tele. He's been on for the QVC awards and within the past 10 minutes all I seem able to hear is his blooming annoying voice saying 'you're loving the show' and 'we're loving the show.' What is the matter with some of these presenters? Others manage to leave out 'you're/I'm loving all the flaming times. If it's not creepy Charlie, it's Alison with her 1000 gorgeous genders or Jilly with her 'It is...' in reply constantly to a BA's description of something or Ophelia (say no more). I don't know if it's just me but I'm sure QVC is getting worse.

Agree, it's been getting progressively worse for a long time.

To be fair, Charlie looked a whole lot smarter than Alison Young, she looked a right mess imo. He was at least suited and booted for the occasion.
He made an effort to give the impression that this was a very important event! AY's jacket looked too big for her, and the boots were ridiculous. Who advises her on her clothes, I wonder.

As someone on another thread said - borrowed from a scarecrow 🤣

Charlie's lovely. Why don't you like him ?
For me, I find his constant taking the piss out of everything and everyone irritating and disrespectful towards BAs, crew and the viewers. He's always got some smartarse comment, always thinks he's the funniest or coolest person in the room, and it becomes tiresome quickly. He's also incapable of being remotely sincere. I'm all for a healthy disregard for QVC and how seriously it takes itself, but it much prefer the way Alex Kramer goes about that, rather than the ME ME ME way CB does.

You're my kind of person - he's so full of himself (I'm tempted to say so full of sh$$). Even though I'm interested to see what they're flogging I can't watch him on the food hours, as his continual shoving of food into his mouth without chewing and swallowing what's already in there just makes me 🤢 He used to irritate me on the Charlie Bears show, too, when he spoke in that creepy, slow voice.
