Grizelda, the result looks fabulous and it's an amazing skill but it's too painful for me.

I only get my brows done about every 3 months and I don't mind doing it, it makes me feel better. And sadly, occasionally I need the upper lip and chin done as well (better than having a moustache and beard!). I've got naturally dark hair and it shows on my face.

Having the slug look doesnt seem to be subsiding, but I appreciate women who have sparse or nonexistent brows wanting help, but after seeing examples of some work carried out, I wouldn't have a beautician come anywhere near mine - I'll stick with my brow pencil.

Now just watching Deborah on Cozee Home, and again hers are different - very thin arches. All very subjective I know.

Cozee Home Deborah and her thin arched brows, reminds me of one of those soft-focus Pierrot pictures from the70s/80's. Not sure if anyone knows what I'm on about?!
 
This is all reminding me of when I used to dye on own eyelashes.
I did have it done by a beautician friend until one time she got the dye in my eye badly and it stung like hell!

I was quite good at it, and used to leave it on the skin too a bit so a good a slight eye-liner look for a while.
For several weeks I could just curl them - or not - and not need mascara.

I used to use a dark brown Eylure Dy-lash. And any extra I’d apply to my brows occasionally - any more than 30 secs or one minute on brows was lethal!

It was quite easy to get dye in my own eyes but I could get it out fast too! Ouchy!

Anyway must be about ten years ago, I they discontinued it and new one was “reformulated” = appallingly bad!
Pointless to use it, so since then I’ve dyed neither.

If anyone knows of a decent eyelash tint to apply at home, I’d love to know!

It's a very dated look. I don't know about the Pierrot pictures, but those high, thin arched brows remind me of 1930's film stars, like Marlena Dietrich.

Give them time!!
They have barely scratched the surface of menopause symptoms!
Migrating hair turned bristle is also a bane of my life.
Then they need to follow up with more products "to support the menstrual cycle" following on from the very expensive period knickers they offered from Sloggi or Jockey (I can't remember).
 
Chin hairs are tougher but so satisfying ☺️

I've been shaving my bum fluff off my face for decades. Makeup looks better and my skin had the glow back previously hidden by all the peach fuzz.

I use a men's Wilkinson Sword razor as they have fine wires wrapping the blades so they don't nick like my old Gillette. Men's razors are cheaper and don't have bulky moisturising bits.

I've never had hair grow back thicker or darker and I don't shave daily, just a light swipe with a dry razor every few weeks.

I do a quick once over with my old Lidl epilator every now and then, too. That catches the odd rogue that seems to pop up and grow an inch overnight!

I tried the 'face' razors when I saw them in a dollar store in the US over 20 years ago. I'm not a fan. You need to pull the skin taut and hold it at the correct angle. B*gger that! Give me my men's razor any day. It's cheaper, lasts ages and does the job.

I always believed hairs grew back thicker from shaving, nice to be proved wrong!
