Belisha Beacon on with another miracle beauty gadget, story of phone call last night arguing with management on the price, don't be stupid, don't be silly she told them at their proposed price, i fought for you guys she says. Finally price is revealed, in extremely overexcited teen mode, phone lines are blowing up, i've got chills, oooooooh. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Though, you do have to respect how the presenters put themselves on the line for us to get the best prices.

Hammy, you're very cynical. I believe her cos she wouldn't lie to us. I'm now going to lie down in a darkened room until my medication kicks in🤭🙊🤣

Does anybody seriously believe these comedians are off-set prior to their shows, arguing furiously with a call-centre in India, demanding some piece of tat at a set and previous price is reduced at pain of disembowelment without an aesthetic to the same set and previous price? Most of them do so much preparation that it looks like they first meet what they sell on-air, on-air. I imagine they get an A4 products and prices sheet for their shows and if any one of them is actually meticulous enough to genuinely prepare, they can Google the thing and learn a bit more about it. How many times do they pick up the box or instructions sheet and read off that in front of us? Or ask the Gallery the sort of things any serious product demonstrators would have made sure they know? Van Turnedhover didn’t even know if the product he was being the ‘expert’ on came with batteries or not??!!

Why even bother to prepare properly for showing items to what appears to be the completely disrespected when you can save the effort and blag it on air. Let alone fight for price reductions for the sad saps. I mean…I’m sure they see most of ‘em as being comatose anyway.

Considering how hard it is for us here to find a lot of their products online, i reckon it'll be near impossible for the clown presenters. ;) :ROFLMAO:

Ofthemasons is clad in polo shirt, and flogging "the showerhead everyone is talking about" :) The Rolls Royce of showerheads. It's £36 pounds elsewhere.....all day long! Except the non-direct comparison is £32.

Now under £8 - "oh, you like me now!" - no, we don't
He really has a thing about not being liked here (and possibly elsewhere too...). That's some ego he's got there. Mike, if you read this at some point it's probably best that you don't look at forums like this. If you put yourself on telly you are going to attract comment, some good and some bad. We're not your fan club.

As for his comment about us liking him now, if he sold something I wanted to buy that was reasonably priced I wouldn't suddenly be his bestest friend. We all know the presenter doesn't set the price despite what they say.

No WOW factor. They’ve been on since August of last year, haven’t they? I have yet to see a product come to where that has ever remotely motivated me to consider buying it. On QVC, for example, you often see products come to air which spur you on to think..well, I might buy that, it’s good value, and it’s an attractive brand at a good price. Not on here you don’t. Relentlessly mediocre, low rent goods at generally poor value compared to elsewhere.

Roofix...I mean Guardian. Peter V slipped up last time but this time he made a point of not mentioning the name but said it was same parent company and used exact same demos with Roof guardian sticker on the side. It's such an odd thing.

Take a refreshing drink of Coola cola (looks exactly like coke) we've been selling Coola cola for years, remember the big red lorry at Christmas? Yeah that's us

tbh I believe every word they say. These presenters are my friend and they care for me. I trust them implicitly. They value me.

;)

Joking aside, it is like a sort of telly equivalent of a 'Everything Under A Tenner' shop, jam-packed full of random junk.

Still, as we say, the model appears to be working for them, unless (financially) the IW side of the business is being propped up?

Not me, this is the bag i use, got a few years ago, think it was about 30/40p, still going strong.

I love my local Asda. I went in there last night just to run up and down the aisles shouting this repeatedly ...

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMON

I managed 11 aisles before security took me down by throwing a frozen chicken at me :(
