Ooh er...the new studio promo. So much more destruction possibilities for Chef Mark when he is on fire...

Considering they've been telling us not stop for the last few years, what a waste of money and energy ovens are and that everybody is switching to air fryers and we should all be using air fryers, especially the ones they sell, why have they two ovens and two hobs, are ovens making a comeback.:ROFLMAO:

I look forward to seeing big brands at great prices to compliment the new studio ...

Yeah bigger brands, bigger lies. ;)

Although not sure we will see huge changes, they may have a new studio but still have just the TJC warehouse, not like they've suddenly got new warehouse space for all these new brands. Think they will still be limited to a lot of the existing brands, VGL (TJC's owner) also make a lot of money from supplying the channels with their in-house brands/products and brands that will deliver direct.

Why are all the prices, to clear prices when he’s on

That's to give viewers the impression that the products are a better/higher quality and price than their selling price suggests, just a marketing ploy. Another he uses is saying they are at an "Introductory price", of course you never see the products selling at the Non "to clear" or "Introductory" prices.

The acid test for me with this doppelganger version of Ideal World is that to date I have seen not one item I would have the remotest interest in buying. I am not a prolific buyer from shopping television channels, but I have bought branded goods at decent prices from both the former versions of Ideal World, and from QVC in the past. All I see on this current channel is £9.99 item after £9.99 item. Uninspiring flatters the vast majority of the items they sell. I also don't like the tactics they employ in trying to sell them.

Haha yeah.

I've lost count of how many times Pedro flogs a watch as a "world launch... you'll be the first to own this" giving it all the Ideal World exclusive, not available elsewhere, etc., then, 5 minutes later, he's saying it's at a "clearance price", cos it's the "last of the stock", there'll be no more…

So…world launch … first time on air …no-one owns it… exquisite value… but already priced to clear… but sells at 3-4x the IW price 'every day'… even though it's a watch no-one's seen before or owns yet… 🤔

I'd ask someone to make it make sense, but it's a fools errand where that bloke is concerned 🤪

Yeah, would agree with the quality of products, most are just cheap to average quality at best, i haven't seen anything i would buy from them, about the only thing i use that they sell is the waterless wax, but get that elsewhere at a better price.
Although even if they did have a product at a price i liked, i ain't buying for them, for the reason highlighted in your final sentence.
About the only channel i would buy from would probably be QVC if they had something i liked but haven't seen anything for years, but as for the rest of the channels, nope, and again that is mainly down to their sales tactics you mentioned.
