An hour long presentation on one product really tests the guests knowledge.

Wiggy fails this test, and then some, with two questions so far that he didn't even understand the meaning of.

No phone calls, quelle surprise, it's all text and twitter. Lots of editing going on.

He is a smarmpot and unconvincing as an "expert".

And I don't wanna hear about his mum.

I've never been impressed with him as an "expert". It was embarassing watching him pass himself off as an Apple "expert" during that hour of Apple just before Christmas. He didn't know that you could tether your iPad to your iPhone, which enables you to access the internet via a WiFi connection on your iPad (iPhone becomes a WiFi hotspot for your iPad via the iPhone 3G connection.). This is pretty basic knowledge for an Apple techie.

He's a salesman first and foremost. If he wasn't on QVC he'd be working the floor at PC World. Or an estate agent.

I wouldn't wish that even on Wiggy.

He goes on a lot about being asked questions about products on Facebook. If you look at his FB you'll see the posts are at a rate of about one per month, and none from customers. It's all about his travels to Vegas.

what amazes me about these people, is they don't FIND OUT! i don't know the first thing about the ipad or iphone but if i was demonstrating it on tv i'd make darn sure i knew all there was to know! it's no different to swotting for an exam surely? :wonder:

He's mentioned John Barrowman a few times - that's why.
Perhaps he has a crush.

I am not a fan of Wiggy but did enjoy upsetting him on facebook about the hairpiece.
I really wish QVC would get rid of him as a technology expert and get someone on that knew what they are talking about.
As someone has already mentioned i am fed of him mentioning his Mom and his travels to CES in Vegas.

I completely agree. I think Wiggy is too concerned with telling us about the colours, the look of the item and which one his old ma would choose or already has, rather than treating us viewers like intelligent and informed consumers and telling us about the functions of the product in detail (and I don't mean just spouting off the specs that are printed on the side of the box packaging). Its all form over substance, and it shows. QVC is the last place on this planet that I'd look to for "tech" advice, because it's so poor in quality. Sadly it seems that Wiggy is the best that QVC can come up with. And I can't bear Wiggy's shiny suits either.

i don't really remember him but i'm gonna have to look now ;)

bring back tim goodwin i say.

I did not even know he had a wig on :giggle:
Now he is on, I cannot take my eyes off his head! I had, in the past, wondered why he has got a weird hair cut, then I thought it was a teddy boy hair style:giggle:
