Why does Charlie always say : Taking by Jewellery world by storm????? :headbang:

Just watched the first few minutes of the TSV (kyanite ring), but wish he would use other phases to convey how desirable it is. The phases just seems to me to be a bit OTT sales pitch wise.:mysmilie_486:

Charlie picks a sound bite and beats it to death. Inbetween each word is enough time to go make a cup of something, do your cleansing routine and still be back for the rest of the sentence.

He seems to say that for every gemstone. They can't ALL be taking the jewellery world by storm, can they? I find him fairly inoffensive but he is SO dull. I think he may be the presenter who makes me switch over the most. Even more than Ann Dawson and thats saying something.

They are all guilty of using the same phrases again and again. Luxurious and prestigious spring to mind from AY. Awww every five minutes from CH and Amaaaazing from JF.
I think we notice it more from the presenters we're not keen on.

Gems TV have been selling Kyanite for ages and usually cheaper than today's TSV. The stone actually reminds me of my Iolite ring purchased many years ago from QVC back in the day when their jewellery was reasonably priced.

Because he's an annoying twonk with very limited vocabulary. :emo:

I think it's rather interesting that Charlie and that Professor guy were quite merrily flogging kyanite rings to people after I read the following online:

http://www.gemselect.com/gem-info/kyanite/kyanite-info.php

Apparently, kyanite is recommended by reputable gemstone sellers for use in pendants or earrings because of it's comparative brittleness and tendency to stress fracture when used in rings or bracelets.

I didn't hear CB or the nutty professor say anything about that in the kyanite show... :wonder:

i can't watch Dale, every word is an adjective, incredible being the most used.

Simon Biagi - "Cooking up a storm" for kitchen products. Every single time

They've all started to use Snoozie Adam's "puppy dog's ears" saying for loads of stuff not just NN flannelette. (Can't think of one off the top of my head though - duh !)
