QVC presenters are exactly that, not genuine, qualified sales personnel. My customers ask me for information about appliances, what is the difference between this laptop, and that one, etc. They will ask me to recommend one, and I have to live by what I say. Shopping telly presenters are not going to say, for example, 'I wouldn't touch gatineau.' They would be alienating customers from the brand. My customers trust me, to tell them the truth, and I sell with integrity. How many viewers actually have faith in QVC presenters, to do this? From opinions on here, not many, it would appear.
If QVC presenters give out false information, the poor folks in customer services have to deal with it. If I, or any colleagues do that, there are consequences; the customer will come into store, and we will have to face them. We have to deal with our own customer issues.
Put a presenter in a retail establishment to sell, and they would be like a deer caught in the headlights.
