Jaeger have done this for years. Their size 10 is really a 14 it seems. I have never actually shopped there myself. I think they wouldn't let me in the door.

But then there are tons of brands out there that label a size 12 as XL or even XXL. Mexx comes to mind, Mango also only caters for the slim.

i totally agree that the sizes are completely different nowadays. i am now in a M&S 14(mostly), the last time i was anywhere near this size was over 15 years ago. i was then either a 14 or a 16(usually 16 in M&S) but i was also over a stone lighter

Zara their large is a size 12 and a small one at that.

On the other hand Planet sizing is very big at least a size smaller than I usually take and East are another one with quite big sizing they must be "vanity sizing" for the majority of us!

French Connection sizing is generous thats why i love it.
