I ordered a Nailsinc set before Christmas. A couple of weeks ago I got an email to say it had been returned. Normally the postman leaves a note if I'm not at home and I can collect it in the sorting office (I live in Ireland). This didn't happen so I'd no idea that it had arrived.

My refund is being processed :mysmilie_10:, but am I wondering if I have to pay the P&P (over £5)?

If the item wasn't delivered then you shouldn't have to pay the p & p but you might need to chase them up to get the full refund. I'm not sure if 0800 numbers work from Ireland or if they do work whether they are free so email could be your best bet. The rules regarding what can be sent by mail have changed recently and the number of nail polish items that can be sent in one package is now limited. Your parcel could have fallen foul of the new regulations and that could be the reason it has been returned. You would expect QVC to make appropriate arrangements for carriage or not accept the order but a number of people have experienced difficulties and complained on the QVC Facebook page.

Thanks Boris Bear, I'll chase it up. Just hope my Mally TSV arrives!

I think you should be ok with that, I think it's nail polish or items with large amounts of liquids that are an issue so something like a L'Occitane TSV could be a problem.

I just rang, you're right! RM won't deliver large quantities of liquid so it was just returned and P&P was refunded. I was also just told I can get these items delivered by courier which is cheaper than RM international - I normally order online so will phone in future and request courier delivery.

If anyone is ordering from Ireland be aware VAT is charged at the Irish rate which is higher at 23%, so that solves the mystery of why the prices are always slightly higher!

Yes, I was about to say Royal Mail new regulations mean nail polish only up to 2 bottles and must have special stickers and a code on it. A courier can do it but must be signed into some special regulations to do it. Its been massive on the perfume boards, people sending £100 bottles out of the UK, get it destroyed and a nice letter from RM to tell them.:mysmilie_51: Oh and don't do it again or we can take you to court.

Quite a few in Ireland on QVC FB complaining about nails polish not arriving and getting returned to QVC(who seem to be morons and not follow the proper rules, or perhaps its too much trouble.), up in Northern Ireland we are getting nail polishes. I am waiting for an order from SpaceNK sale where the Rococo polishes down to £3 from £12 each. They do send by courier and have all the correct paperwork. I ordered 3 bottles and they are actually sending 1 bottle on its own.

Even those in the UK if returning nail polish to QVC have to get it collected by a courier.
