Haven't had a look for quite a while but decided to browse the Clearance earlier and see that the bulk of QVC's reductions are still as great as ever and continue to be an insult to our intelligence! Some of the clobber must have been stacked in the corner of their vast warehouse for the last two decades or so and still they don't want to embrace the word "clearance" to get rid of it. Time to donate the bulk of it to charity I think as I shouldn't imagine it would make the tiniest of holes in their vast profit.

Come on QVC.....when you use the word "clearance" at least pass on some decent reductions when, in fact, quite often the bit of saving doesn't even cover the P&P costs. After all, you CAN afford it and just think of the space freed up to stock more tat at highly inflated prices!!

QVC are so tight they squeak, the clearance prices are thinly disguised introductory prices, the beauty products have probably gone off by now but they'll leave them in that warehouse gathering dust and covered in cobwebs if it means they have a minute chance of squeezing an extra tenner from a QVC customer, yep they definitely think we were born yesterday.

They could at least consider knocking off the p&p, after all this time.

Their stock management is dreadful for the older, slower-moving items. Stupid really, as each item on their shelves is costing them money day by day just to store them. They would be far better off to be more ruthless. Put them on at a decent discount on the website - rising in increments to 50% then bundle them off to one of their shops or stick them on ebay.

No good retailer keeps in stock indefinitely, it's not the sign of a healthy business to have unrealistic expectations of the price they can sell their older products at (and the condition, for that matter, as we can probably expect a large majority of remaining stock to be returns).

If you're serious about making room in the warehouse - give us a really good discount, make them a bargain-hunter or an OTO, or just advertise them better on the website.

And while they're at it - they should sort out how the clearance section behaves - it's even more dysfunctional than the rest of the website, in my opinion.
