I have no qualms paying a premium to try a skincare range in the knowledge that, should it not work/agree with me, I can return it. This is the main reason I purchase skincare from the Q. This is a new Danish brand to the UK, but has had an excellent write up in Harpers Bazaar. Anyway, as with any product on the Q, I always research it on the net for availability, pricing, opinions, etc. The below 10 degrees cream is on Tromborg's official website, priced at 580 Danish krone, compared with £80 at QVC. Now, not many of us will be au fait with the conversion rate of the krone, so just out of interest 580 DKK equals £64.43!
When will QVC realise that their customers are not spendthrifts and, simultaneously, ignorant when it comes to handing over their hard earned? I for one, am not in the habit of paying more for an item, if it selling cheaper elsewhere, be that in this country or not.
