Double the peace of mind – there's two of everything in this fantastic set, including 16GB SD cards, and each set is individually gift wrapped. Why not keep one and give the spare to a loved one, to make sure they are also looked after on the roads with full HD recording.

Full 1920 x 1080p HD - at 25 frames per second, even the smallest details are seen in each recording and that, meaning that should you be involved in an incident then you have high quality and clear footage. Its 140-degree field of view provides coverage wide scope of view of the road ahead, massively increasing the chance that you’ll capture an Incident if one occurs. Footage will be considered by some insurance companies as part of the claims process should an accident occur.

The latest in-car camera technology - the camera's built-in G-sensor measures your vehicle's movement across three axes. This means that if your vehicle is involved in an incident, then there’s a higher degree of accuracy as it’ll show the exact movements of your vehicle at the time of the incident. If sudden movement is detected, the footage automatically starts saving.

Discreet recording - the video display screen incorporated in the unit turns off after a short time so that the driver's view is not interrupted, while the camera is recording everything on the road ahead. Plus, when the SD card is full, the RAC 3000 operates on a loop recording system and will overwrite the oldest recording and continue, without the need to erase or download any data.

There when you need it - when you turn your vehicle's ignition on, the device automatically starts recording. If abnormal motion is detected when driving, such as an accident or impact, the footage captured is automatically saved as an event file and can't be overwritten.

Microphone and speaker – if required, sounds and conversations can be recorded. If not, a simple one touch button will mute the microphone.

Personally I'd avoid the RAC dashcams. I bought one of the others a while back that they featured on QVC, and it turns out they are rebranded and you need to go to another website to get updates etc, and it isn't easy. If you aren't really comfortable with PC's etc then you will have some real problems sorting out updates, and firmware installations.

Possible these are a different manufacturer, but worth bearing in mind.

Just turned on to hear Craig Rowe trying to scare the living daylights out of drivers, typical QVC trick, also, the tech expert (LH) is saying how good the Linx laptop is and what a great price it is at £258 £9.95 postage, yet, it's sold other places including eBay for £199 free postage and two year guarantee, also he's filling time with how it's great for shopping and students......the mans no expert, you could read everything he says straight off the box.

We have a Dash-cam for our car, but it is a brand that QVC will (probably) never sell as whilst it was relatively expensive it also had good solid independent reviews and as we know Q and reviews (from the outside world), don't necessarily go together!
