The microphone wasn't off!

Hi,

Just wondering if anybody else heard Mark Ryes' HUGE clanger last night.

After a pre-recorded VT for a Vivitar digital camera, we cut back to the bid studio to hear Mark Ryes talking curtly off camera... saying the following:

"It shouldn't have gone over a tenner anyway, it wasn't even gold it was only gold tone!"

There followed a few seconds of silence as his mic was muted, then a somewhat shaken Ryes reappeared to present the camera.

I was stunned rigid!!!! Hilarious.

Please, someone else must have seen it!!

It happens more often than you think! I've heard Marina say "Oh, ****!", I've heard Lynn Taylor swear on a couple of occasions, but the best mistake had to be when Paul Ross used the almighty 'C' word! No-one seemed to notice though!
