I bought a Vax vacuum cleaner via Groupon, delivered 8 Feb. Very happy with it, however, yesterday it blew the electrics and smelled very badly of burning. Not good. I wasn't sure whether I should phone Groupon or Vax so I phoned Groupon first.
Me "Hi, I bought a vacuum cleaner and it has malfunctioned electrically"
CS "OK madam, we have sold out but we can arrange collection and refund"
Me " I don't have the box"
CS " That's fine, just pack it securely for return. Parcel Force can collect on XYZ day. Which would you like?"
Me " X would be good. How does the refund work?"
CS "As soon as we have returned goods we refund straight away"
Me (speechless). " Wonderful thanks for your help"
We will see. After my "we can't supply a pre paid label" experience with QVC the other day, this lady was a pleasant surprise.
