I wouldn't say steam cream is comparable to Emma Hardie et al in so far as it was made to be a general all-purpose moisturising cream but with no particular formulation to suit a certain age or target a certain skin type or issue.
When it first came out (and qvc are v late in the day on this one) I was quite intrigued by the concept of the steam infusing the cream with the oils etc - and the light texture but I do wonder if it's of a gimmick.
I find the lavender scent too much near my eyes and although I have dry and sensitive skin, it's a bit oily/doesn't sink in brilliantly. But it def didn't set my skin off and is worth a go as a quality natural cream.
In desperation recently - and out of curiosity - I bought a tub of tesco own brand cucumber night cream £1 for 50ml!! It's not tested on animals and not as natural as I would usually buy but I love it!! It suits me so well and doesn't set any allergies off which is unusual. And for £1 you can't go wrong (the day cream is 75p...)
