Sony s500i Battery Cover Probs

I bought the sony s550i as they'd had it on quite a few times and it dropped to £51...I'm beginning to wish I hadn't though.

I cannot get the battery cover on at all. After searching around I've now discovered that this is a well known problem with this phone :17:

So where do I stand here? Will they take it back? I've never bought a mobile from an online channel and am unsure whether I will have to pay to return this faulty item.

Hi Ang,

Technically you should get a full refund, inc. p&p, but you will probably have to make a special point of asking for it.

I rang them up and they were perfectly okay with it; I've asked for a replacement as it looked to me like the cover had a missing tab.
