Sometimes I feel guilty about spending....

Lol I hadn't reallly thought about it! Metrosexual! I am a bit obsessive about skincare. I use every product under the sun and never go out without sunscreen on (unless it's night time!). When I was a teenager I had really bad acne and it took years to get it sorted out with laser / roaccutane etc. Now my skin looks great and I try to look after it. I have heard that sonic toothbrushes are good and I like the idea of the face cleaning thing. It's just a bit expensive!
You're surprisingly metrosexual aren't you Julius? Are you sure it's the tight clothes that are attracting hoards of gays to you, and not the whiff of your skin care regime?

My Mother had a favourite saying " there are no pockets in a shroud " and even though money was tight and she had 4 young children she always said every woman should own a decent dress, a decent bag, a decent perfume and at least one piece of decent jewellery and as a child ( I`m 57 now ) I loved seeing her in her nice dress with her nice bag and smelling beautiful. It stuck with me and when I was a young Mum with small children and money was tight, I always tried to emulate her even if ( like her ) I had to save hard to buy such things.
When my husband complains I have too many shoes, bags, bottles of perfume, earrings etc I always answer him as follows ....
" Yes dear I know but just think if we ever have another war and they bring back rationing then you can have ALL the clothing coupons for essentials such as work shoes or a waterproof work coat because I`ll have enough neccessities to last me at least 5 years ".
So don`t feel guilty, you`re simply joining the war effort : )
