Skechers - Simple question.

One of my favourite shoes, thanks to a long-ago charity shop purchase I haven't posted in this forum that much, coz it's a long time since I purchased from QVC. But, I have a question. Do they ever do men's Sketchers? I don't think, even when I was a regular watcher of the channel, I've seen anything other than women's shoes, of any brand. Thanking you x

yep they have & they have done quite a few in the past & there is 8 on the website currently

Thanks On a side note, do shopping channels think men walk around naked? Surely they must have a market for men's 'stuff', and another thing I've not seen on shopping telly, kid's clothes. Not that I want those: I might be short, but not that short, but it just popped in my head

A lot of women buy clothes for their husbands, so I'm surprised QVC doesn't sell menswear. It would only be jeans, tee shirts and jumpers though.

I know men's jewellery may be a lesser thing in the grand scheme of things, even if it's also wanted, but clothes are obviously needed. Maybe start a petition all over Regardless of channel.

ohh QVC have done mens clothes in the past & a few of the chelsea peers pjs have come in mens & kids ones but they barely sold

they even had a range designed by sir steve redgrave (the rower) but it just never really took off

Maybe it's because of their prices. You can buy excellent quality shirts for well under £20 from places like Yorkshire Trading etc - lucky we're within striking distance of a branch, though, but there will be other places further afield, I'm sure. Often men of a certain age are content with what they've got and feel comfortable wearing so don't need to buy as much. The operative word is "need" which outweighs "want" for many.

The reason men's related products don't sell , is because the discount is never the same as ladies. I know you will argue due to lower volume sales but they will never reach higher sales at virtually department store prices on men's beauty ranges or shoes.

the discount is acutally usually bigger compared to ladies because of the lower sales to try & help it to sell

I remember, way back, QVC selling men's suede and leather jackets.

They did and when I first met Mr CC he was quite a large size and found it hard to get good clothes so I bought him a suede jacket off QVC and it was really lovely, good quality. He wore it and wore it then lost lots of weight so it went to the charity shop where I'm sure it would have been snapped up. That was probably nearly 20 years ago.

A lot of men of Mr CC's age (over 60) buy from the likes of Cotton Traders or Tyrwhitts and younger men wouldn't dream of buying from a shopping channel.

Mr MA is still lamenting the loss of our Debenhams store.
Still, he bought plenty during the closing down sale so has enough Wranglers and Levi’s to see him out.
Needed to get a suit for an upcoming wedding, after trying on the one he last wore pre lock down. I promise I hardly laughed at all.
Ended up in one of our local men’s shop and hired one for the occasion. Which at least is supporting a local independent business.

Always plenty of younger men in our TK Maxx looking for designer stuff.

The heart design along the sides of an expensive pair of Skechers trainers (apparently in cooperation with a famous artist) don’t resemble hearts at all. They look like rabbit ears.
