Hi there, got the 3piece TSV today. Just wondering, the muffin tray is bent. Do I try to bend it back? And the roaster sides are bowed out. That means that the bottom isn't flat. Have I got a bad set or do these things fix themselves with use? :1:

Hi I didn't get this particular tsv, but do have a previous similar set. The muffin tray shouldn't be bent like that, so sounds like you have a dodgy one there. As for the roaster, I seem to recall Dale saying on the demo that it wasn't collapsible as it will flatten but not stay that way (or something like that!)...hope that helps.

I'd ask for a new set ! Mine arrived yesterday and look like they did on the presentation.

On the subject of silicone bakeware , one of mine caught fire this week!! I didn't think they did that . I had put it in a Cook's Essentials mini oven under the grill with some bacon in . It was very close to the grill though . I went off to sort out my sky box and when I got back the kitchen was full of smoke and the silicone pan was literally on fire . So watch out folks .

They do usually say no naked flames!:11:

My instructions for this set say

Do not place silicone bakeware over direct heat - on a hot stove top or under a broiler

Wiki says thats a heat source from above so I guess that would include a grill

Grill's a no no :23:

Glad I have seen this post, as was about to complain my roaster doesn't compress :34: The bun tin is fine, flat as a pancake, I find they do not change, the round ~pan~ from the previous tsv I bought was wobbly and has never gone down flat.

thanks for that . Think I'd better start reading the instructions :11:

I made some Yorkshire puds today in part of this set, and they were great - even if I do say so myself.

I went to the Shrewsbury outlet on Monday and was slightly gutted to see some 5 piece silicon kits there after knowing I'd bought the TSV. Still, these are better sizes and less is more! At least that's what I'm telling myself.

Hi Satis,

I went with a friend and she pretty much got everything on her wish list. I didn't do too badly either.

It depends what you're after...?

There were quite a few sets of Lock & Lock, lots of bedding and Cook's Essentials.

My friend and I bought the Lora Greiner beauty storage unit. We'd have loved the long mirror which holds jewellery, but beggars can't be choosers! It was a great deal nonetheless.

My mate bought a pair of Freedom bags. There were quite a few Prezerve cases. I bought one for me and one for a pressie.(http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.aspx/app.detail/params.item.827159) I also got a luggage weigher (http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.aspx/app.detail/params.item.828400) and some of those grip things you put on your shoes to stop you slipping on ice (http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.aspx/app.detail/params.item.4318120). Bit of a random purchase but this with this year's snow and ice, I thought it was worth a punt.

I'm not big on QVC fashion, but I bought this top as there was 75% off the marked price. (http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.aspx/app.detail/params.item.140573)

If you're into crafting, there were loads of kits there.

My mate bought a TV which was a TSV. I've yet to ask her what her verdict is, but there was a great reduction.

That's as much as I can remember. There was a hard disk back-up device that I was thinking about buying. If it was this one, then I'll kick myself as the reviews look really good. (http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.aspx/app.detail/params.item.560835).

Thank you so much, Minnie,

Of course, it will all have changed in two week's time.

I have already got one of the full-length mirror/jewellery cases, but if I saw another one, I should be very tempted. It is brilliant, especially for earrings.

Freedom bags good also.

I've already got a hard-disk back-up -- the Clickfree -- so I shall be cross if it's there more cheaply.

Not interested at all in crafting.

I've never quite recovered from going there and finding new Markon boots for about ten pounds -- that was the best ever.

I also buy the Debbie Meyer green bags when I go. Not worth the full price, but when you get them cheap, it's worth the purchase.

Wow! Boots for a tenner? That was some find Satis.

Which reminds me... they had Emu boots there. They looked nice and comfy, but I was after some leather chelsea style boots which I can't seem to find for love nor money. Something comfy and flat that can be a runaround shoe. Nothing doing in the sales at all. It's totally the wrong time to be looking for them I guess. I have sandals but am reluctant to get my feet out until my Margaret Dabbs kit arrives. My tootsies need some TLC.

Best of luck for your visit! I'll be interested in finding out how you got on.
