Shopping telly iPad app

When I clicked to come on just now I was offered the opportunity to load an app for IPad for the forum but when I went into the Apple store it was very confusing and seemed a bit dodgy. Can someone tell me whether it is OK to download please?

It's Forum Runner and costing £1.49. Do you get anything for the forum if I download it Graham?

I downloaded it,but can't get it to work.I just have a blank screen.
