I saw the demo on the Gtech hour for some cleaning products called Mrs Gleam. Two bottles with hefty p&p comes to about £20. Out of curiosity, I looked online for these products and found the company website. The same 2 bottles plus p&p comes to under £15.

Maybe this forum could run a thread on things we see on QVC which can be bought cheaper elsewhere.

To be fair, the name 'reasons not to shop.......' doesn't scream 'look here for items cheaper than QVC'.

Newbies won't know from the title - perhaps it's worth changing it.

I agree, I've never read it because its title didn't reflect what it was about

Have to agree re: the title. I was on here for months before I looked, via a thread on the main board. 'Reasons not to shop at QVC' just said to me 'Try these other shops!' Or I thought it might've been a forum to criticise QVC.
'Places to find things more cheaply than on QVC', or something along those lines, would've made me view that forum as soon as I joined.

I really don't understand why it has to be hidden away. Why not just a regular thread that can be added to as and when, like the BPOTM threads? Then it's right there to check, not hidden out of sight/out of mind. I for one would appreciate bargain alerts!

It is not hidden away "reasons not to shop at QVC" is right at the top of the QVC page.

I can see that, Sazza. It's not on the main page and you have to remember to look for it. Hence my opinion that it is hidden away, and that it to it's detriment. I see no benefit to have it that way.

That gel cushion thingy ....cheaper on ebay by more than half price ...my friend wanted one and found one for her ebay ...8.99 free postage ......qvc19.99 plus postage .....no brainier of course .. Sorry the name eludes me ...forever comfy I think .....

There is a reason it is on the QVC section the way it is, I cannot go into the details on here though.
