Not sure if this is the right place for this post. I’m still fairly new to the site and tend to read not post so please forgive if I’m in the wrong place (which is a frequent state of affairs as I’m directionally and navigationally challenged 😱).

I was shopping a couple of days ago and as I was on the outskirts decided to venture into Lichfield City and I was after some new brow makeup. I was still thinking about where to go when I spotted that high street store - the Super one that also sells Drugs (the medicinal type I mean🤣) so decided to venture in as it’s a place I only visit very rarely. On my way to the make up I walked past the skincare section and stopped to have a browse as its products and brands I don’t usually see and wanted to look at the cleansing balms and I spotted the Revolution Pro Miralce Cleansing Balm. Now whenever I see this brand I always pass right on by - in my head it’s huge pallets of glittery smashed up make up in pea greens and florescent pinks made in China (an absolute no no for men) - but stopped out of curiosity. I investigated the balm (and I mean investigated) and discovered to my amazement that not only does it have lovely ingredients, it’s made in Thailand (& they like their natural skincare). So impressed I decided to look at the rest of the range and to my amazement all of the other products I saw are manufactured here in the UK! I came away with the Miracle Cleansing Balm, Miracle Serum, Miracle Cream, and Miracle Night Serum which looks remarkably similar to EL Advanced Night repair (a product that for some reason does not like my skin because it makes it tight and dry but I’m assured by the EL advisers im the only person who’s ever said that). Got a bit of a shock at the till - came to circa £54 😱. Obviously because of the brand I was expecting the bill to be circa £20 🤣🤣🤣. I can’t say whether the products work (& as I’ve tried every brand known to man in my lifetime & none live up to the hype I’m not expecting miracles) but they are really nice. The cleansing balm is absolutely beautiful- smells divine but not overpowering and absolutely no irritation. The Serum feels lovely and again gentle, the Cream is rich but not tacky (however I do need a rich cream that doesn’t totally disappear) and the Night Serum is fabulous. Unlike the EL and L’oreal it doesn’t make my skin tight. I’m really amazed and very pleasantly surprised. The only product I didn’t buy is the eye treatment but I will try that later. Also I have very stressed sensitive skin because I had to have treatment for extensive sun damage (caused by sun beds in the 80’s when we were told they were better than the sun for your skin). The treatment entailed burning skin off with chemo cream and not only was it agony but it’s left me with problems I never had before (in spite of the consultant insisting there’d be no lasting effects).

Sorry for the interminable length of this but I was so amazed by my find that I couldn’t resist sharing and if anyone has managed to force themselves to keep reading to the end - thank you. Knowing me I'm probably the only person in the UK not to have already discovered the range!

To everyone else who takes time to post on the site - thank you. I think it’s a brilliant platform - friendly, informative, fun and very useful

Hello Choosi5050. Nice to “meet” you.

I don’t know much about Revolution other than my impression has always been the same as yours - that it’s aimed at teens/zoomers and tends to be very cheap so likely full of cheap ingredients that wouldn’t be very good for you. Having said that, I did buy a couple of their solid powder marbled blushers a few years ago, when they were 3 for 2 in Superdrug (which we can say on here, by the way, as we can with any retailer or brand). They’re not bad but I have to use them sparingly. It’s interesting to get your views of these other items, which I haven’t seen either.

Anyway, this is definitely the right place to post what you posted. And I’d say you will 100% fit in on shoppingtelly.com with your attitude and contributions like the above. Welcome.

Aww. Thank you 🙏

Hi Choosi5050, and welcome!
Like Patsy (above), I've used the Revolution concealer, which I found very good and you didn't need to use much of it at all, so very good value, in my view. No experience with the other items, I'm afraid.

I have been using the Revolution Hyaluronic Acid SPF 30 Moisturiser (Hydrate) on my old skin for a month and it’s excellent , as good as the Perricone SPF 30 one and far less expensive . Easily absorbed and no residue .
Thanks I'll give that a try next time I'm in Super drug it Boots.👍👍
