The German figures which QVC used to sell. Think they are still sold now and then perhaps on QVC US.

The company is closing

I remember these figurines from childhood. Some people were really into them, but not my mum (although I think we may have had one lurking about). It's a shame they're closing. I know it's maybe silly to say that when, if you don't buy them and others don't either, then a company is bound to go out of business - still, it's like wedgewood: don't own any, but still want it to 'be there'!

I had a very close friend who died 4 years ago and she loved Hummell - always used to get her them for birthdays and Xmas. Not my taste though.

I don't have the hummel figures but I have some hummel thimbles.
