Reduction in VAT

I watched a little bit of IW yesterday and noticed that they were passing on the new VAT rate to their customers. They were selling two remote control flying thingies for £19.56 (which would have been £19.99 at the old VAT rate) and the Moira C scarflaces were selling for £38.99 instead of £39.99. I doubt that it will last long, but I thought it was a nice gesture.

Seems to be happening on quite a few products... and they're not charging the new vat rate of 15%, they've actually taken off the old rate of about 17 1/2%! They probably won't be able to keep it up but hey... every little helps and that's more than alot of shops are doing! Thanks Ideal World!
