Switched tv on in the night and Howard was on ITV channel for IW with Elizabeth Grant products and the package was £34.99 and Howard said " People are ringing in to ask if the price should be £134.99 and have we made a mistake?"
Really? Do you honestly expect us to believe you Howard? Why is this channel fullof ridiculous presenters who think the public are so gullible?

He’s full of it Susie (full of his favourite conversation subject!).

Mind you, if people will fall for the utterly ridiculous Torricelumn (TM) nonsense then nothing surprises me :mysmilie_59:

Ok, there might be some viewers who think it's a mistake (unlikely though) but he'd have no way of knowing this. unless as he said, people are actually ringing in to question the price...People are NOT going to ring up and question the price-they're gonna snap it up pretty damn quick before the error has been noticed. Do they really believe, that we're gonna believe that a company like that are gonna display a price £100 lower than it should be, and not notice until Maureen from Grimsby, or Ethel from Doncaster phones them up to tell them!!!!

I guess they've been told that the usual "No, you're seeing this right it says £34.99 not £134.99" has lost its impact and they have to try and be more "inventive" with their sales techniques.

As for the Elizabeth Grant stuff, you're paying for the packaging and fancy extras as the stuff inside the pots are no more effective than a bog standard tube of skin cream from Superdrug!
