Is that why during a Watch Show, Peter never does it up, and just lets it smash against the desks
To me, that shows he has no respect for the product, that he thinks it is cheap and nasty and not worth looking after.

I doubt he would do that with a Rolex although not very likely they would get any to sell here. Unless Barra Boi has acquired a job lot of genuine and definitely not hookey Rolex's that he bought from his acquaintance Mr A Daley.

Yes, it looked awful !
In all the years of IW: both the TJC and it's former life, I made a purchase this week, as a guest. It's the first ever one on IW for me. Why tell you this relating to a throw? Well, I had a peek at the throw via that link. Got an email from IW asking me, 'did you look at.....' I purchased as a guest and now they won't leave me alone :p But seriously. I ordered on one email and had to log in but 'registered' with another email, for convenience, and now they are appearing on both addresses.

Of-the-Masons has been forbidden from buying and "ice blue" Duchump :ROFLMAO:

He wants to buy one, but IW insist these are offered to the buying public.
He has been promised the chance to get one if the buyers can get more international stock :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

He saw a guy with an "ice blue" watch the other day and had to speak to him about it - the wearer knew about watches.

Dealers are coming in because they "know" they save thousands of pounds :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Maud is in for one :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

These aren't exaggerations or bigging up a product, they're just bare-faced lies

If I wanted an ice blue watch ⌚️ I’d buy a Skagen one. They’re extremely flat with a Milanese strap. Around the £100 mark. My brother-in-law has had one for about 10 years and apart from changing the battery is still going strong. I know the majority of IW watches are automatic or you wind them up. I have large wrists so if I wanted a watch I’d buy a man’s watch. I think if I bought one of the IW ones I wouldn’t be able to lift my hand up🤣.

Unfortunately haven’t been able to wear a watch since I had a disaster with my Fitbit. It caused burn and blistering on my wrist which took months to heal up. If I wear anything on my “watch” wrist it flares up again.

I do love reading all the expert watch comments from other forums members and have learnt a lot about watches. So thank you.

On a totally different note track, I watched a Ch 5 programme about scammers. One poor guy that got scammed sold high end watches of which they showed about 20 of. Didn’t see a Duchump, Jack deManure or Mathay Ferguson/Tissot amongst them though.

Is Maud related to Muriel? And where does Trevor fit in? Answers on a postcard please.

And IW are terrible if they don't allow staff to buy them, totally out of order. If Ofthemasons was clever he would get one of his many friends to buy if for him, surprised he never thought of that himself...

I bet Hammy was glad he wasn't named as the chap that Mason spoke to, the one who knows about watches🤭
