He just can't help trying to antagonise, he wants to cause trouble. He was the cause of Duke stepping back, and I won't forgive him for that.

I don't think people really believed this. This person is so defensive about the channel but never engages on what is so brilliant about it. Or sneers at individual posts regardless of whether they are true or not. When this happens its easy to say that they are a presenter blindly defending their channel (and their income). Its almost a lighthearted insult calling them the presenters name.

No, I believe he just posts here to cause trouble. I tried reaching out, treading on eggshells and being so polite but he accused me of putting words in his mouth, he didn't bother engaging or saying why he likes it so much. Of course he doesn’t have to. I tried and failed to engage. So I block him. Job done.
 
Sorry all, but the SL thing has killed it stone dead for me. A significant amount of months regularly coming on to the Forum to get a reaction. No sign of an end to it, either. Then, like I did, you do react and go OTT with the response. The situation is then turned around on itself, and you (i.e. ME becomes the inappropriate agitator). I still and will continue to browse, but you feel if you come back and post regularly again, the whole thing starts up again. I came on here originally to contribute what I felt was something to amuse people and give them a laugh or two. The photos were a labour of love and were worth doing because people appeared to enjoy them. What I didn’t come on here to do was to feel like I am almost being stalked by God knows who. Many of you pressed the block button on this poster. I can see why that is an option. That says a lot for their intentions. But that’s like the real world option of drawing your curtains while an intruder trashes your garden. Then you get hacked off with that behaviour, shout out the window at them something quite fruity in tone. And then the Police turn up and arrest you for foul language. That’s the analogy I see with this. I may feel differently as time passes, but not at present. Take care, all.

So glad you're still reading but I understand why you don't want to post. You are missed and I absolutely loved your pictures, so much detail in them and I thank you for that.

You could always just post on topics of interest and leave the comedy sketches/pastiche images alone for the time being.

Let's be fair here, there was an expression used about another poster that was totally out of order - no excuse for it at all. OK, the objectionable word wasn't actually written, but making the point in an unmistakable manner that another poster might be seen in a week's time on a Tuesday is not acceptable and there was no need for it. I'm sure everyone's familiar with the objectionable word. Nobody forced the poster in question to write what they did, and - 100% correctly, in my view - the moderator intervened, poster took umbrage and went. There was no excuse for one poster referring to another poster in these terms.

I enjoyed the former poster's comments, and think it's a pity they couldn't concede that using this expression was out of order and apologise for it. Because it most definitely was and is out of order and had no place on a forum.

EmmaP has also made the point at least a couple of times that the poster who made the unacceptable comment seems to have been wrong, anyway and that the poster on the receiving end is/was not Peter Simon.
 
Dirty Peter again looks a bit peeky. Maybe not enough collagen or a night on the tiles in this pub......................
