Whilst we're on a horological thread, may I take this opportunity to publicly thank Professor Branestawm, who, after asking for servicing advise on one of my watches, gave me a contact of another FBHI member, who will shortly be receiving it. A lot of negativity recently, but there are still true gents and people about 👍
Awww- thank you. I would’ve done it myself if my hands were still up to it.
☺️

Oh poo. Missed it. Did it manage to suck up the usual handful of rice crispies (other rice based cereals available!)
indeed. Funnily enough, they didn't demo it attempting to pick up fluff, dog hair, little bits that might catch in the fibres of the carpet...in fact anything which might remotely resemble how the vacuum cleaner might peform in real life.

Of course, we're all too stupid to realise that light, large, dry, discrete particles, like Rice Krispies, are very easily sucked up by even the crappest vacuum cleaner...

I did see a bit last night where he was picking up something that looked like currants. It picked up some of them, then when he switched it off, it spat them back out! The remainder on the floor were hastily removed off camera.
