I posted comment about Torchy on the treadmill at 10.36pm. Went and watched something else and when I tuned back into IW at 11.55pm, he’s still on the flipping thing. Has he been crawling along n the thing for an hour and a half?

Wonder how many have been sold.

He's been on it from his start at 10pm and finally finished on it about 12 midnight.
I didn't watch all of it but he just kept circling between blood pressure, cholesterol, how he wants to help us, his children, his parents.
On and on and on.
Tbh the thing doesn't look very good and only goes up to 6kph.
Looking at the amount of time it was on I don't think it was selling well, if at all.

I suppose it depends on various factors like your age, how fit you are, how long your legs are.
6kph is 3.73mph.
Previously I would have said 4mph was a normal walking speed but I think I was probably overestimating.
I was thinking a little faster would have been better if people wanted to go to a mini jog.

It takes me about 35 - 40 minutes to do 1.5 miles

I paid £299 for a 32” Sony smart tv. Didn’t see on IW but was it a Homesmart one,

I was always told average is one mile in a quarter of an hour. These days I’d just like to be able to walk a mile

You’re right he is a discriminatory knob. That’s the best description of him I’ve heard.

As you don’t imagine many of there customers doing thousands of steps.

At least Becque doesn't give everything the super hard sell. He's generally quite calm apart from some of the beeping noises.

You're a little faster than me. It does depend on incline though, up hill or down dale!

You can tell he loves himself, with his too tight t-shirt so you can see his muscles bulging. And the photo displayed behind on the tablet, shirt open, not appropriate really.
I thought you were quite polite as well, at least you didn't mention anything about parts of weeks.

Ah, yeah: I chose to take a bit of break from shopping TV for a while. My partner had a sudden health scare (it all turned out fine after lots of tests —well, fine in the sense it isn't worst case scenario) and I just couldn’t see the funny side of IW for a while, especially all the hysterics and theatrics when peddling pills n’ potions, contraptions n' cure alls.

But it seems like one of IW's limited edition heirloom timepieces of such exquisite value, okay, I ended up bouncing back

Depressing thing about returning is how nothing/little has changed at IW. Same shoddy products, same scammy sales techniques, same simple Simon…

Sorry to hear about your partners health scare. Things like selly telly (and even this forum) may not be funny when you're going through stressful times.

Glad you've come out the other side in order to marvel about the exclusive, one time only, luxury, heirloom products IW sell (sold elsewhere for £3.50 + p&p).
