For this reason, I don't 'do' soaps, but tell me a soap that has a 'happy' smile-worthy storyline? A village, a square, a street: All of them seem to have murder, mayhem and destruction going on. Even at Christmas and other 'happy' occasions. No one can get married, have babies, have relationships etc without 'evil' befalling them. Said it before, but if these places were real, and they were giving the homes away for free, if I was homeless, God forbid, I would steer clear of them. Nowt but dismal :p
I used to enjoy Coronation Street in the 1970s when I was a child, when Annie Walker had the pub, and Ena Sharples and her cronies sat in the snug. But times change and the scenarios seemed to get more extreme. I haven't watched any soaps for around 15 years and I don't miss them.

I watched the first episode but gave up on it once the majority of the original actors died. The houses were indicative of the old two up two down and the rooms tiny. Caught as few trailers recently and the rooms are decidedly bigger.

I spent a lot of my teenage years staying with friends and relatives in the East End of London and Eastenders was nothing like the east end I knew. So didn’t watch that.
Emmerdale I gave up watching when they had the plane crash n the 1990s.

Never watched any other soaps as I find them boring. If you class Doctors as a soap, then yes, I did watch that and miss watching it since it ceased being made. Quite interesting to see some of the actors and actresses popping up in other programmes. Mrs Tembe was in the dire Good Ship Murder last week.

Yes. Happy days indeed….

here he is Mr Smutty
When he said he was selling a powerbank (£12.99) he said "oh no don't tut at me but it was a very good offer". Very strange thing to say.

Then "you can expect to pay £29.99, £24.99". True Peter, but according to Amazon those ones are more powerful. In fact Amazon has one on offer for £14.01 reduced from £25, and it's 27,000 mAh rather than IWs 5,000 mAH.

At 1:15 today Pedro spouts "Neil Morrisey I think he's called, he came in yesterday from Jacques (cough, cough) Du Manoire".
I did see that presentation last night with Neil and Masons of the Mike.
I didn't realise at the time I was watching that it was Men Behaving Badly, but thinking about IW, it is that most of the time.
