Mike how about shoving it up Simon’s ar*e and trying to jump start him. Might start his brain up

How can they sell the one they've done that with.....

Cor blimey a lot of his mates had flat batteries! I can’t remember the last time I knew anyone with a flat battery.
Yes I know it happens, but, really, 3 of his mates?

He ain’t got no mates.

Is his middle name Billy?

Doh, I would have switched to side-lights in my car and left it running.

I would assume his car is new enough to have stop/start hence the £360 for a new battery, probably automatic lights as well.
Don't believe £360 for new battery, stop start for my Kuga 2.0 diesel with 4yr warranty £143 from my local battery independent seller. That's for top spec, could be sub £100 for lesser known brand.

Right, so Jezza suggests using your washer jets with this carshark washer fluid will clear ice.

I might be stupid, but most cars move the wiper arms at the same time you use the jets. How is that going to work on an icy screen?

Chamois demister pad worth 10 15 quid? Must shop at Halfords!

-10 only that screenwash.

£5.49 at The Range if you have one nearby - https://www.therange.co.uk/diy/moto...k-high-performance-screen-wash-10?gQT=1#92057

£2.49 500ml Holts De-Icer - https://www.therange.co.uk/diy/motoring/car-winter-essentials/holts-trigger-de-icer/

If you don't like de-icers then try a Murska (finnish brand) scraper - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265634390341

Laura asking Mike if they're doing the Dubai Eau de Parfums tonight.

Sorry, but why would anyone ask if they are doing air fresheners, surely you would just go to their web site and buy them.

lol at this one, I think it's tactic no. 7 from the 'selly telly bullsh1t handbook' they all use.

Brenda's emailed in asking when we're doing air fryers again ...

Really? Really?!? So Brenda hasn't thought to look online at the other thousand retailers flogging air fryers???

Aye, whatever ...

I'm sure on the old IW he got either a Dormeo or Emma. I remember when GX pillows appeared and Mike claiming he was having restless nights but the pillow had given him the best nights sleep, was going to text in and say funny that Mason because you were saying the exact same thing on one of the mattress shows.

I've got a hybrid mattress called the Doremma, it's a Dormeo and Emma taped together.

Bit cynical really. I’ve just started up my new business with Govt funding and hope to get a slot on Ideal World with my new SuperColl Collagen. Below are genuine results that IW will verify and use on my behalf:

Can’t argue with that can you!
If you need any more finance let me know, I know a good deal when I see one😉

I hate the stop start function on modern vehicles. I always press the disable button as soon as possible.
It hasn't happened to me, but I believe it has been a factor in a number of low speed car park type incidents.

My car has none of the mod cons or even a battery - I do have very sore feet though 😳🤣

I hate the fact many modern cars are becoming ever more like devices as opposed to cars. Screens instead of dials, knobs and switches. Interior lighting akin to a disco. No proper handbrake. Often no actual dipstick. Beeping at you left right centre. And to be plugged in to recharge!

Nope you can't halt change, 'progress', however when it comes to cars I'm happy to admit I'm a bit of a luddite ;)

Could be anything and they'd know someone who has one.

We're selling this mini nuclear reactor for £1,000,000. Now, my cousin bought one last year and I think she paid around £6,000,000 and hers didn't come with a HEPA filter.

We're selling this extremely rare white pink spotted tiger, apparently there are only 3 left in the wild. Ours is £4,000,000 on 4 flexis. Now, the guy who lives three doors down from me bought one a couple of years back and I think he paid £10,000,000 and his didn't even have pink spots OR a HEPA filter.

I don't even type that as a joke. They could be selling ANYTHING and they'd still use the usual tactics, the usual stories ;)

My thoughts exactly, technology for technologies sake🤬😡Hate modern cars in some ways, even the older cars I typically buy have got pointless extras on now🤔😟God know in a few years time and I’m buying todays latest cars second hand in the future😵‍💫

On those lines, I found both a distributor cap, a set of points and a few HT leads - all new- in a giant garage clearout last year. They must have been in there for 30yrs+, because I haven't had the car which they fitted for about that time. Can you imagine now, on a foggy damp winter morning when the car won't start, suggesting to someone that they try spraying the cap and leads with WD40 to see if that helps!

Thanks for the kind words… Daytimes on Ideal World essentially unwatchable nowadays, so not room for much to say there. Great camaraderie on here, as I said. Will still post the ODD picture from to time to time. Caught the Football Collectibles hour with Mike last night, and to be fair, some great items on there….Stay well, all…
