You would get equivalent watches off Ali for about £25.

And why have a 12 hour sub dial at 9pm? Utter waste of a complication, totally pointless, just copies the hour hand. That alone tells you how crap these watches are. Similar watches on Ali run the 24 hour sub dial at 9pm. Plus the bracelet has hollow end links.

Ok we can say it's on the viewer to research before they buy. However, there will be viewers out there who simply don't use the internet (mainly the elderly) therefore can't really check prices quickly and/or those who are very trusting by nature. Also those who, how can I put this diplomatically, are in control of their own finances etc but perhaps struggle to varying degrees with day to day life from a mental capacity perspective. It's these people I feel sorry for in relation to any product IW sell that can be had cheaper elsewhere, sometimes considerably so. And, prices aside, these people will be more inclined to believe the misinformation and lies even where price isn't an issue.

These viewers are GOLD to selly telly.

Agreed, but how many elderly, non-Internet viewers have that sort of disposable cash and pay IW £2,400 on an Earnshaw watch and aren't mentally incapacitated.

Would love to see if IW sold any on their site at that price. Or just a placeholder for later on when they bring it on air at a more realistic price.

I've seen a few of these examples when they put air fryers, cookers and other stuff on their website at exorbitant prices. Presumably on the off-chance a punter might buy at that price whilst browsing and in readiness to lower it later on when featured more prominently.
