I need to sit down. They actually have another sort of vacuum in the building. And I've had those bags before: from QVC and they aren't all they're cracked up to be. They eventually inflate. At least the ones we had did.
The best vacuum bags I've found are from Primark, dirt cheap. Haven't let me down so far.

Is Torchy practicing the pole vault? That telescopic window squeegee looks a bit flimsy. Oh hello, he’s now got a screwdriver wiggling it round in an unctuous black mixture in a tin. Did he come out of this tin like The Creature from the Black Swamp?

Also see he’s been to a theatre wardrobe department and got corduroy jacket on with a velvet collar. All he needs is a paisley cravat and he’ll think he’s landed gentry. Wazzock

Long rung? Who mentioned ladders? 🤣🤣
In the long rung
Like a bowl in a china shop
It was a bit of a damp squid
It's a doggy dog world
I'm on tender hooks
They are an escape goat
Let's nip this in the butt
But it's a mute point
To all intensive purposes,
I wouldn't say boo to a ghost,
But it's a mute point,
To be pacific.

If anyone saw the Modern Life is Goodish episode about this too.

Off to bed at ten to 1 am - a quick flick over and Torchy is calling all parents.
He wants them to buy 36 Phillips batteries.
We all know you can get 40 of them for less and free delivery at Amazon.

They keep saying they hold the charge for ten years, but they'll never get rid of them in a decade.
These batteries are in the Gammon storage area - can't shift them.

I wonder if Sunday morning will bring Dirty Peter not only flogging collagen and bags, at a price to clear, alright, not only.
