They're all at it - Dirty Peter's knees/hair/skin was saved by collagen and a vibration plate helped him lose six stone. Lately, a stepper has stopped him falling over.
Mike-of-the-Masons was cured of Policeman's Heel by Emu Balm.
Foghorn swears by all manner of potions but seems to be constantly unwell.
The other night, Torchy was saying his hair was being saved by some gadget.

They bank on some people believing/hoping their vague claims have some truth about them.
People in pain and discomfort go looking for cures and they're happy to exploit that.
Don't forget Natalia who sells the battery powered gadgets (no, not that type of battery powered gadget, stop sniggering you filthy lot🤣).

She claims all of them will cure all your wrinkles and whatever else is wrong with your skin which means you won't need any treatment like Botox🙄. Makes me laugh cos they sell different ones each day. Are we meant to buy them all?

Dirty Peter starts the day as he means to on - "I will never do you wrong"

Then, almost in the next breath, says about a bag "but for £9.25, go and ave a buy".

Of course it's not 9.25 - that's the first of four payments.

Again, as I say, not only should he not be misleading people like that.

He's on one today - a jumble of words tumbling from his mouth as he desperately tries to flog bog water sets at 3 for the price of 2.

"this one Tom Ford.........eh, inspired by.......terrific buying......not only......not only.....you CANNOT go wrong....go and get them....enjoy.....as I say....you'll be over the moon.....ave a buy.......MULTI-BUY these.....right.....get all three.....one of the steals of the day......they're all inspired....as I say, alright...you'll be thrilled you got these...."

Muriel's been mentioned about three times

MULTI-BUY…This piece of shyte for Valentine’s Day…This lovely piece of cardboard and a plastic stiletto…Now there is an urgency in my voice because my prostrate has gone vertical…Muriel…Agatha…Beryl…Edwin…And all my other made up 1940s’ names. This cardboard box inspired by the wonderful Tom Mix Scrotomia….See the look on your loved one’s face on the Day when they open it and find £14.99 of love from you, Okay?? Charley? Chronic misleading cough…Are people Multi-Buying these? No, you ridiculous old fool…PEOPLE ARE MULTI-BUYING..RIGHT!!!

Hi guys - I hope all is well :). I did ask again about the direct price comparisons being on the screen and this is something they are working on still. It’s getting permission off that company / website to show it at that price on their site…so that’s where the delay is. We aren’t allowed to just say ‘B&Q’ have it here or ‘the range have it for x’ without some form of agreement. :)
I'm sorry, but either you're not telling the truth, or they've come up with this biggets load of ******** to tell us.

IW1 used to always compare against Curry's, Argos etc. I don't see why "permission" is needed when that price is in the public domain anyway.

This was the same for bid tv back in the day when they actually sold half decent products. They even had advertisements (adverts on their own channels and on other channels) directly comparing. These just showed the date of the comparison in case the price did change.

Clearly permission wasn't needed. If I was argos and IW told me "we are selling a vacuum for £50 which you sell for £100. Can we have your permission to tell the viewers this?" My answer would be no. Why would they say yes?

Cast back only a few months ago when Seen On TV was around. They compared an item to many retailers including TJC. Do you remember? Simon was ridiculing TJCs price. Do you really think TJC gave Seen On TVs permission for this?

Peter is more than happy to say when they're beating Amazon. So do they have permission for Amazon? Biggest load of nonsense I've ever heard.

Poor old Alex was being told a crock of it there, I’m afraid. He seems quite a sincere person to me when he comes on here and I don’t think he would come on with a load of intentional ********. Of course you don’t need formal permission to price compare. As you say, when they play one of their beating Amazon games, funnily enough, signed contractural permission isn’t needed beforehand. The truth of it is, in my opinion, it is not in their best interests to want to provide direct linked price comparisons to other retailers in general. Why? Because so rarely are they ever in a position to say they are genuinely cheaper on branded goods that they sell compared to elsewhere.

I agree. One of the reasons I believe they don't do it also, is because if they are more expensive "elsewhere", the "elsewhere" website will be some obscure website nobody have ever heard of. "Here's a direct comparison where you can see for yourselves at www.we-also-sell-tat-at-inflated-prices.net"

It won't be long before they buy the nile.com domain and put their tat on there at inflated prices to directly compare, and say that the website is very similar to Amazon ;)

Alex is in a tricky position he can only tell us what the management have told him, he needs to work.

I noticed last night, Yiannis was selling a Slientnight pillow, and said you only need the one pillow, It was the same pillow I was looking at, and Alex told me he wouldn’t just use that as a single pillow

I get the impression the old fu..rocker is keen to get us to MULTI-BUY today…

If he says ‘pilla’ one more time, I’m going to put my foot through the TV!

He really does make this sh*te up as he goes along, doesn’t he?! So many ‘off the cuff’ claims about these ‘pillas’ that I can’t even keep up…but I wonder… If the ASA (or whoever) were to take even a 5 minute sound bite from him, it would be littered with false information. So why is no action taken?!

I’ve moaned about it so often on here but never actively pursued an answer. Time to look into this methinks…because he gets right on my thru’penny bits 😉

Or time to switch off?

A couple of times they shown a Amazon Comparsion and you know it’s from Amazon, because of how the page is styled
I'd rather buy from Amazon even if they're a bit dearer. Delivery is quicker, they're more reliable and I'd trust them more than IW if things went wrong with the product.
